hellooo i know you're only halfway through this show, but if you ever want to watch more thai series after this, 2gether the series (13 episodes) and enigma (4 episodes, 2 out currently) are AMAZING. 2gether is a romcom and enigma is horror!! and there's also 23.5 coming out somewhere this year where the main leads are played by ink & pa their actresses, they just started shooting!! also do u think u'll ever continue druck?

The scene on the beach is one of my favorites because they do really start honestly talking to each other, and the writing, acting, and directing are all excellent. You've absolutely keyed in on their competitive relationship, and it's exactly who they are. Also, yes, Wai is the most disliked character (he reminds me a bit of Tao in "Heartstopper" as being overprotective of his friend, as well as in other ways you'll see in later episodes). I'm happy to report that in another series the actor who plays him is much more likable. And as for the Uncle thing, it's traditional in Thailand for younger people to call older men Uncle and older women Auntie, so they are just following convention with Tong.
