(I always think of that Romanization as gan, so I forget at times. I could also be totally off on this, as it is also a shortening of his (characters) legal first Name. Sometimes Thai names have meaning (built of several words), sometimes they are just names, lol.

So a little more info Gemini (Tinn) and Fourth (Gun) on a Thai competition for singing and Gemini won. This is their second show acting and technically the actual age they’re supposed to be when this was filmed, which is awesome cause usually you see older adults being students which sometimes feel off. And Gim (Gun’s mother) is the best.

I enjoyed that you went in blind and had absolutely no idea because it gave you a realization at the end. So great. Gun is such a cutie, you’re right, we ride at dawn to protect him. Tinn is such a simp and I loved that you mentioned that Tinn did what he did to help Gun because he wanted to see him succeed and not to show it off to him. We all love Tinn and Gun. Our comfort show.

Some more connections between this show and Bad Buddy: the actor who plays Yak, the Music Club senior who gets into the fight early on, played one of Pran’s friend group, and the actor who plays Tinn’s friend Tuwin, who we’ll see more of in the next episode, played one of Pat’s friends. (Mark Pakin, who plays Tuwin, pretty much steals every scene he’s in, and I love it.) One of the Chinzhilla band members, the drummer, was also one of Pat’s friends. By the way, there are music videos for most of the songs on the show available on YouTube.

After watching so many high school theme I was over it but this show was an unexpected but a great surprise. Can’t wait for episode 2. PS yes the voices in the songs is their actual voices. And eat something before watching this show! 😂🤣

2023-11-21 00:27:52 +0000 UTCI fell in love with this show instantly, Gun is such a fun character (they all are but in this episode mainly Gun). and omg that twist at the end of this episode! it always makes me so emotional. i'm glad you weren't able to see it coming, i love how you kept hating on Tinn haha. Also, fun fact, the two main actors and the guy on the keyboard play the music club boys in episode 11 of Bad Buddy when Pat and Pran go visit their old high school!

Thought you almost caught that in Gun's speech when he talked about 'together' several times but the interested kids disappeared, lol. Also, yes, I do get hungry every time I watch a Thai series episode. Lots of product placement, especially from food that can be obtained locally. But I love the way they really integrate them into the stories and make it Very obvious that it's a product placement that it actually makes it funny to me, lol (and it does work on me).

Forth (Gun) and Gemini (Tin) as well as Ford (Por/keyboard) and Satang (Sound/bass guitar, comes in later episode) were all part of a talent/idol competition. As in most shows, the songs are relevant to the scenes, but I seem to watch the lyrics a little more closely in this series, like the scenes with the song about being "judged at first glance".
