well, there it is folks, the end of bad buddy๐ญI literally am so sad its over, because I've come to love this story and the characters SO much.. but I'm so glad I watched this and it'll always have a special place in my heart. it was such an amazing introduction to the world of Thai shows, and I'm so excited to get into more!! currently loving MSP :') what did y'all think of this finale?!? I really loved it๐ฅบ

You're probably not going to see this now, but I'd still like to clarify some things about the parents at the end that I think you missed. Pat's dad got mail delivered that was actually for Pram's family so he was just doing the neighborly thing and putting it in their mailbox and Pram's mom returned Pram's guitar to him as a way of apologizing I think, since he quit playing because of her.

2024-10-04 18:13:57 +0000 UTCso to answer your question Jimmy, who plays Wai, is actually the lead in two shows, one Vice Versa, that came out just after Bab Buddy and Last Twilight which is currently airing. and Drake, who plays Korn, is not a lead as far as i know, but he is a love rival and part of a side couple in 2gether, and still 2gether, which came out before Bad Buddy.

This was my first BL and it's still my favorite (My School President is my third fave after Bad Buddy and The Eclipse). This BL really blew up and it even got a write up in Vanity Teen being compared to Heart Stopper.

2023-11-24 08:48:51 +0000 UTCI feel you so hard in the fact that I hold Pat and Pran so dear to my heart. Their love was so beautiful and touched so many of us. Every Friday was chaos when a new episode aired, honestly so iconic. Also, Wai does have a series as a main couple. Well, two, one of them is Vice Versa and the actors that play Pat and Pran actually make some cameos which was great. He also has a new one out that is 2 episodes in and itโs called Last Twilight and itโs by the same director as Bad Buddy.

First of all, this was my first Thai BL show to watch and it is still my favorite. I agree that the show wouldnโt be the same without Ohm and Nanon as the two leads, but I also have to give a lot of credit to the director, Aof, who in my opinion hits a home run with every show he directs. For me, his shows are pretty much the cream of the crop. And itโs not that the plot of the show is so unique or groundbreaking; itโs the way itโs executed, breaking a lot of the stereotypes that come in other Thai BLs and, as someone else said, nailing the ending with something thatโs truly believable. I was afraid too, that no other Thai BL could compare, and maybe they donโt fully compare, but there are others that are excellent in different ways. The two series that Aof directed before and after Bad Buddy are also amazing and for the most part, donโt take place in a school setting, the way many of these shows do. Tale of 1000 Stars and Moonlight Chicken both star another couple of actors, Earth and Mix, and they are complicated shows with complex characters. Both of them definitely deserve a watch. I also really liked the show that Jimmy, who plays Wai, did after this one, called Vice Versa (and I know not everyone likes it as much as I do, but itโs still in my top five of the ones Iโve seen). Itโs a bit more of a fantasy involving multiple universes, but I think it handles it extremely well, and both Jimmy and Sea, the two leads, are engaging, and also have terrific chemistry. They are in a new series, also directed by Aof, called Last Twilight, and the first two episodes are exceptionally good.

With Singto Prachaya (No longer with GMMTV). Ghost and Human love story :-O

2023-11-23 20:40:57 +0000 UTCI loved watching this with you. Warning: Essay incoming. When you consider the parents, bad buddy does have a kind of bittersweet ending. Their journey with their parents parallels coming out in a lot of ways. When they are older, have their own jobs and lives, though they are still technically keeping their relationship a secret, they don't really care as much anymore (with pat screaming out his love for pran every chance he gets, them being loud in pran's room, pat openly talking about a gift from a "friend"). I really love that about this show. And you can also see that keeping this a secret, and Pat's dad's actions have really had an impact on Pat's relationship with his dad, though this is done so subtly. They are not as close anymore, Pat doesn't go home often. If you are venturing into the world of BL, you will see that a lot of shows have endings that tie things up perfectly. And those can be nice, but I far prefer bad buddy's ending, which i feel is quite realistic. It can take parents many years to come around and accept their children's sexualities and relationships. And the best part is pat and pran knew they were doing nothing wrong and happily lied and snuck around, knowing and believing that what they had was important and worth it. <3 On a separate note, drake (korn) hasn't headlined a show in a while. jimmy (wai) has been the lead in 2 shows. "vice versa" is one of them (though i didn't enjoy that one very much), but more interestingly, there is one that has just started called "last twilight" which has the same director as bad buddy. we are two episodes into this at the moment and it looks quite promising.

Please Next React to "A Tale of Thousand Stars" (in "OurSkyy2" they're with PatPran & it show their story after the end of "A Tale of Thousand Stars" & if you react to "OurSkyy2 you will not understand who the other couple is or their story & again it's a really beautiful story" done by the same director of Bad Buddy) *BadBuddy (OhmNanon aka PatPran) *A Tale of Thousand Stars (EarthMixx aka PhuphaTian) *Our Skyy2 the 4 last episodes are about (PatPran & PhuPhaTian story) *My School President (GeminiFourth aka TinnGun) *MoonLightChicken (EarthMixx & GeminiFourth) all 4 together in a new BL story With all this 4 series you will know well this 3 beautiful couple of BL from the same agency. Then you could watch some other serie with other couple from the same agency later, i think it's better this way (my personnal opinion of course). PS: the guy who play Wai in "Bad Buddy" have 2 BL serie too but honeslty the first one is not that great but his new one is really interesting & just came out recently & it's done by the same director too, it's call (Last twilight).

I'm pretty sure Pat and Pran stopped actively hiding they were in a relationship after graduation but just never told their parents they were in a relationship. I think they had to hide it from their peers/friends at university because Pat's dad is so connected with the profs and so it would've gotten back to him that Pat and Pran were still together if they didn't hide it at university. Jimmy (Wai) has been the lead in two shows, Vice Versa (which Ohm and Nanon were also in) and Last Twilight (which is currently airing). I know Vice Versa is a show people either really loved or hated, but I really liked it, and I thought Jimmy was good in it. I'm waiting to watch Last Twilight until it has finished airing, but people seem to really be enjoying it. He is also, fun fact, a doctor. Drake (Korn) was one of the leads in Blacklist (which Ohm and Nanon were also in) and 'Cause You're My Boy, and he has been a second lead or support in a bunch of shows. One of the shows Drake has a small role in is Only Friends, so if or when you get around to watching that show, you'll see Drake briefly. I would not suggest watching 'Cause You're My Boy, it's really rough.
