2024-03-23 03:51:27 +0000 UTCah about the girl who speaks english even though she knows swedish fluently , swedish is a really difficult language to pronounce .. and also basically all younger swedes know english fluently. this might not make sense but it's very normal for people from other countries to speak english instead because speaking swedish can feel super uncomfortable to speak if ur not very used to it, the sounds are so strange compared to other languages lmao TT

2024-03-23 03:20:46 +0000 UTCAlthough I haven’t seen every episode yet, I’ve seen enough that I want to make sure not to spoil anything. But I can say that the reason that Madison speaks in English even though she clearly understands Swedish is that since she is American, she does not feel fully confident about speaking Swedish without making mistakes and feeling foolish. Fortunately, most Swedish people seem to understand English pretty well (every cast member who I have seen interviewed so far fairly fluent), it’s not surprising that they would understand when she speaks English. And do note that some of the things that were reported to happen during initiation didn’t happen to Wille. As for what is coming next, all I will say is prepare for a roller coaster ride (as though you would expect anything else from this show).
