I love listening to your reactions and commentary when I'm working from home, it really livens up my day :)
Frank is a narcissist and his determination to keep his kids purely because they're HIS is one of the best examples of this. He doesn't care, he just like the welfare cheques he receives for them and knowing he has control because he is their father. It's not about anything else but his own ego. I honestly hate him so much, he is such an awful person. And this episode is great, it sets up some amazing foreshadowing for future seasons.
This whole season is one of my absolute favourites along with 4, 5, 10 and 11. It only continues to get better right up to the finale which is...just as nuts as the rest of the season.

I love your reactions, and thank you so much for talking about what Mickey went through, a lot of people who watch the show seem to overlook everything that happens to him, and focus on what Ian's going through. Ian has such a tough time too, but that doesn't mean that Mickey's trauma and how he deals with it is wrong

Love this episode! But just to chime in about something you mentioned towards the end that makes me think you might have missed the key detail about the will I wanted to point out.
Aunt Ginger has been dead at this point in the story for like 12 years or so. That's why Lip dated the will back for like 2006...to make it appear like it's been around a bit...but when they went to file it she said the will filed by Patrick was "dated last year"... 😊
