Went though this series very quickly. Loved it very much. As an Asian American mix, it's always very nice to see lgbtq+ representation from the Asian community, even with all the products placements. Haha
Speaking of, if you look at their Instagrams, they are still doing it! Haha. As recently as earlier this year many of the guys are still hanging out and doing promos for the products. It's so cute and funny to see after watching the show. 🤭

Thank you so much for watching this series. I was bored and I didn't know what to watch so I just looked up msp reactions online that are from patreon and when I tell you I was really happy to see your name pop up, I literally gasped so loudly. I used to only watch your cut reactions on youtube. I just knew I had to watch your reaction to this series because it's my favorite comfort show that I've watched like at least 50 times and your pov and jokes are so relatable and funny. I binged your msp reactions like they were a tv show lmao. And when I watched reactions to other people, I always skipped to the reaction part but for your vids, I actually stayed and listened to your comments at the end. I can't wait to binge your other reactions! Thank you again for sharing your msp journey.

There are some things I have picked up just from watching the shows and watching reactions. So I now know that “talay “ means “sea” from Vice Versa, “sailom” means “wind” from Dangerous Romance, and “wandee” means “good day” from, of course, Wandee Goodday. And I learned that Thai doesn’t really have a word for “you” so that lots of times were translated as “you” is just a repetition of the character’s name. But that’s most of what I’ve learned.

LOL, I still feel like I don't know much, but have been lightly studying for a few years. I eventually want to be able to visit Thailand, Korea, and Japan so started fiddling with all 3, but since even just 1 is difficult, I started with just Thai for now (also, Thai shows dominate my viewing). It does help in some scenes where the translation does not seem to fit or I hear a word that does not seem to fit the translation, lol. I still have to backtrack and lookup some/most words, which is great to help me improve. :-). That's how I caught this one by hearing pom fan ben (my boy/girl friends is) and nak rian (students). I then got to learn the word for president, lol. I still unfortunately can not catch most of what is said without translation, but at least I can now catch a lot of what I hear with the translation being a big crutch for now. :-)

Watching you going crazy on rock and star song if you heard it before. I’m just thinking yes is the last intro song. They just haven’t sang it yet.
I can’t believe you missed the first actual kiss which is technically a peck but still very unexpected in which in the behind the scenes it was improv from Gun.
This show will always have a special place in my heart. It’s just a show that no matter how many times you watch it you still feel the same way in a good way. And I agree that teacher should’ve gotten worst consequences but things are different in every country. Great reaction Alex. I know you put more screens of the show cause you didn’t want us see you teary eyes maybe wiping your tears. 😜 Just teasing!

I’m definitely looking forward to that, whenever it eventually does come out (I don’t think they’ve even started filming it yet).

I honestly don’t really know any Thai beyond a few words here and there; I just knew that about the title. But I am interested in hearing about the more literal translations of things, since I know the captions can be slightly misleading at times. I guess there are always complexities that get lost when translating from one language to another.

On the prom promo video, I love the way that although Gun was vocally jealous, Tins co-star's girlfriend looked as though she was about to 'KILL' tin, lol. (oh, on the bicycle thing, KDramas are BIG on 'cutesy' couple things. I think I've read before that the couples outfits and couple outings are actually a real thing. But aside from that, couple cutesyness is a real thing in Asian dramas, lol)

Did you catch the change at prom when he said "My 'fan' is the president right here"? I only caught that after several re-watches, lol. (I may not have the wording right, as I am currently drinking wine, due to an already 45 hour work week in just 4 days of analyzing data)

That was one of my beefs on the translation for this episode, lol. I felt like it took away some of the meaning in the subs for those that are not familiar with some Thai, lol. ( I usually have minor beef with translation in many BL's, lol, such as atidakimasu being translated to "let's eat" or "bon apetit", lol)

Oh, before I forget, Mark (Thiu) will have his own leading BL role this fall!

This is a really terrific series that is well done in every area. And you actually can see more of these characters, sort of, as part of a series called Our Skyy 2. That series takes characters from eight different series and provides two episodes each either extending their stories or putting some kind of spin on the original show. The two episodes for My School President tell the story in an alternate universe where all the characters which places. It’s pretty fun.
Here’s a couple more points to make about this episode: I don’t think the high school principal has the authority to fire a teacher, so reporting what he does to the school board or whatever is really all she can do. And I’m pretty sure that Rock & Star, which Chinzilla performs at prom, is a new song to the show.
Some additional interesting facts: the actual Thai title for the series translates as My Boyfriend Is the School President, that’s what the hashtags they use in this episode actually say. Also, the actors who play Tinn and Gun are also in another series made around the same time called Moonlight Chicken, and it’s a more serious series of only eight episodes; both of them are quite good in it as well.
