This show is very dialog heavy so when the characters are talking or debating things you need to pay very close attention! They talked about Tawi and his forest tresspassing in the first episode in the classroom with Gram, Black (White) and Nuch. Tawi bought the rights to the land in a national park/forest that native people were living on and kicked them all out to build a mansion for himself that he doesn't even live in because he probably has multiple properties. Gram was arguing that the law should have protected the native people because they had been living on that land for multiple generations but instead allowed Tawi to remove them and Nuch was arguing that legally he had the right to do that because he had proof of ownership through the land deed and the native people did not. This is just one example, they will continue to speak on and debate issues amongst themselves and then later in the show will take action relating to said issues that were discussed previously through out the show so it's best to pay attention and take mental notes of the issues they discuss! It's also kind of hard to grasp why they would do such extreme things without knowing the political climate of Thailand and the things that the people have to go through but I think you'll understand more further into the series. This is a drama so of course a lot of these situations are made up and overdramatized to an extent but they are based on true events that happen in real life or real issues that the people of Thailand have to face. It's speculated that this particular drama didn't get very much promotion because of the sensitive issues they touch on so didn't want to draw too much attention from the government.

I think maybe you’re seeing romantic connections between White and Sean before they’re actually happening on the show because you’re expecting them. At this point, I don’t think that’s what’s going on. That being said, I like how much you like this show and how much you’re picking up of what’s going on. I agree that visually it’s very impressive; it’s one of the three most beautifully shot series I’ve seen so far, along with Moonlight Chicken and Vice Versa. It is hard to pick a favorite character, especially for someone like me who knows so many of these actors from other things. Although we haven’t seen as much from the character yet, I think Yok might be my favorite, in part because I’m such a fan of
First, the actor who plays him. Although I think they’re all really good, I believe that his performance, along with Gun’s (Black/White) was the one that most impressed me when I saw the show the first time. And I have to say that Off, who plays Sean, is pretty far from his personality when he’s being himself. He can be surprisingly goofy and silly in interviews.
One other thing: there is a behind-the-scenes video of this episode that shows some of how they did the fire. It’s well worth looking for.
