We as the audience have to be able to see so it doesn't look it but I think the idea is that the warehouse is pitch black at the end so they can get out because they know the layout but the guy with the gun would be completely at a loss about his surroundings.

I guess everyone has talked you out of KinnPorsche? It's a shame. It's mature so it has a lot of complex themes. The mafia lends itself to some despicable behaviors, of course. It's a great show, in my opinion.
I also like "Never Let Me Go," it managed to be a little lower-key and softer but still had drama and high-stakes.
I know a lot of people say "I Told Sunset About You" is great.
A very different show but about a messy group of friends would be "Only Friends".
People are liking "Jack and Joker" and "The Heartkillers", lately.

For other BLs similar to Not Me, I would definitely recommend Jack & Joker you steal my heart, and Heart Killer. Both are on the darker side and Jack & Joker has some really interesting classism as a big part of the story line, which is really interesting to me. I actually stopped watching this show when you started it so that I can watch it with you and I am so excited for the next episode and what direction their going to go in

My heart breaks every time I see the scene where Black beats up Sean :'(
Also, when you mentioned if there's other BLs like Not Me, I instantly thought of Never Let Me Go, which is also one of my favourite BLs along with Not Me. They're not exaclty the same, but to me, it gave me the same feeling, and the chemistry between the characters are just as good, and the plot is also really good. I definitely think you'll enjoy that show as well :D

Yes, that is White rescuing Sean at the end of the episode. And though it’s hard to understand why Black violently beats Sean up, rest assured you will understand his motivation before the series is over. I’m not saying you’ll agree with it, but you will understand it. And Gun is really brilliant in this episode, portraying White going to see his mother pretending to be Black, reverting to authentically being White, and then actually being Black in all his violent scariness. Off as Sean is particularly strong in this episode, too, as he’s set off into an emotional tailspin.

I think you should hold off on judging Black until later. While I don't think he was right for what he did to Sean in this episode, I think his reasons for it become clearer later. I agree that he's a hardened character. However, in going back and watching the pier scene after finishing the series, there's the moment when Black walks away from Sean, before the final kick, if you look at Black's face, specifically his eyes, you can see him think about what he's doing. Gun is such an amazing actor. The differences he portrays in White and Black is amazing. A good way to tell the difference is that, especially once Black is awake they tend to wear clothes that match their names. Black wears darker colors and White is in brighter colors.

I heard someone say once that Black is a bit of a sociopath and it might actually be true, the way he's so quick to be violent and doesn't seem to have any empathy, or at least not much. I mean, he does care about White but clearly not enough and he doesn't feel any compassion for anyone else. And remember when Eugene said Black was only gentle when he was drunk? And I know White isn't street-smart but I prefer him to Black because I think White is genuinely a good person.
