OKAY i have made my usual return! This time here instead of discord cuz I feel I am lowkey annoying everyone there with my longass messages.. Episode 12! First thing first is a fun fact: Stockholm syndrome is not a real condition actually! This has really nothing to do with how effed up the whole VegasPete thing is but I think it's interesting to know. Second is that I think you are underestimating how...crazy Pete is? Him and Vegas do have certain thematic connections, they both were raised for violence in an abuse household and they both are very good at putting on a certain mask. For Vegas it's that whole charming suave thing he has going, for Pete it's the adorable sidekick bestie schtick..but if you really think about Pete's actions during this show he is not exactly..a good person? Pete had 0 claims about beating up some older guy cause he owed money, he does not spare a single thought to the people he has killed working for mafia or to the fact he works for mafia at all. He even gives Porsche the speech about there only being morally grey people in the world. The scene that stands out is the one where Vegas tortures the guy from the casino, everyone is looking away..except for Pete. If you go back, Pete is not even blinking staring at Vegas torture that guy. He is not exactly alright in his head either...now having said that is it healthy for him to be with Vegas? obviously not lmao Third thing! I like to think Be On Cloud were testing the waters here with how explicit they can get with Kinnporsche because let me tell you they get WAY more explicit in some of following other shows😬😬 Fourth! about Kinn's friends - they are actually boyfriends. Their thing has been kinda going on in the back so it's easier to connect the puzzle on a rewatch but when they are first all partying at Yok's bar you can see Time (the one who was cooking) reach over Tay (the one talking to Porsche) to tap Tem's (one of Porsche's friends) shoulder to invite him to dance. When they are all passed out Time's arm is around Tem. Then a few episodes later Tem is drunk crying at the bar when Porsche comes to come out and they offhand mention he has troubles with some rich lover. You can connect the dots there I am guessing. Tay is still with him tho. Theirs and Tem's storyline is more prominent in the book as far as i know Okay that was exhausting but I am done! You know how I feel about Khemjira lol so obviously I am 10000% for it
