Tifa Movie Trailer 2 + Update

             It's nearly over. 13 minutes of footage, 23520 frames, 59 shots and all of my sanity. Unfortunately I made a miscalculation the last time I posted, I was hoping to finish everything before moving but the scenes I was working on were harder than I had expected and I didn't like how the movie ended so abruptly. Going forward it's going to be awhile before I do something like this again.

              This Tifa movie is 13 minutes long which I think is the longest or 2nd longest video I'd made so far and It's a fall from grace story since those are my favorite. I was thinking about making a lite version of "Emergence" but decided that would be too  extreme so I opt for a story of a small town girl getting corrupted by the big city. I implied this story to be a bit of time before cloud came to Midgar to him shortly arriving. 

              So when I made my last post I just needed to animate a buildup into a climax which is typically only 2-3 shots and the ending outro which I finished in a few hours just recently. However this climax just gave me a lot of trouble, the position, jitter, many trials for physics. What was a suppose to take 2 days took me a little over a week and when I was done I didn't like how short the building conclusion was. I let scale creep get the better of me and turned 20 seconds into several minutes.

             In my current state I can't do long productions like this, Maybe as a collab but not by myself due to time, and health reasons. Both of which aren't giving me a break, but I won't doom and gloom about it. I still want to produce great artwork for you all to enjoy and improve my craft. There is still a lot of content to cover ever since I've been focused on this Tifa movie. I put a lot of focus in this video since it was one of my goals I set for myself when moving to blender.

               Anyways I wanted to have this done sooner but moving, adjusting to my new work schedule and finishing the last 1/3 of the movie took a significant amount of time. If I was to give an estimate on release probably 1 (1/2)  week at best, 2 (1/2) at worst. I still need to get Voice from my VA, Animate + Render, Music from a 3rd party, Edit and do general Audio. That said the hard part for this movie is over and these parts are smooth sailing in comparison. Sorry for the book and thank you very much for your continued support!
