Update

Some say the way I paint human skin is too "perfect" and it look very plastic.

I agree.

Added more skin texture and some freckles this time, I like how it turned out so far.

Your work is fantastic, you make your men almost jump off the page with every muscular curve and handsome faces .. so sensual, powerful, erotic and smoking hot sexy . with or without realistic skin your mastery of erotic art is awesome

Dom

That’s called “style.” If you were going for total realism, yeah, that might be an issue, but your work still has an element of your cartoon roots, and I like that.

Mike L.

I love the quality of your skin tones!

Thomas Polk

Do what you like and don't change your way of working or painting from what people are telling you. You are the artist!!! :-) And a great one! :-)

Albron

Different artists have their painting styles. I can tell there are several distinctive styles of your art. Some of them are more Asian manga style, some of them are more realistic, I don't see any plastic or unnatural skin, they all look good to me :)

Marcus

I LIKE the plastic look. I think your stuff is amazing no matter what you do.

I love your style and that's your signature. Still, the new texture is nice.

I see the resemblance. The face model is actually Konstantin Kamynin.

Silverjow

Thanks Thomas!

Thank you! :)

That's not what I mean, it's always nice to try new technique. Thanks for your support.

I always took that style to be very “you”. I’m always amazed at how creamy your skin shading is.

Simon Strange

I was about to pop off and say F the haters but honestly, seeing the bits that you improved on, WERK. It’s gorgeous!

AJ

This piece is turning out to be amazing, looking forward to the finished product.

Joe

A lot of bodybuilders tan out all the textures on their skin, so I think your “fake” look isn’t off-putting. It just helps to focus and highlight the object of the viewer’s gaze: a massive physique with flowing lines that accentuate masculinity. And, certainly, some “imperfections” like vascularity help to accentuate things like a fat-free hypermasculine physique.

R

I honestly think it was your unique style that drove me to follow. I loved it so much, I hadn’t seen anything like it. (And I still love it haha)

Thomas

I'm pretty sure I follow this guy on Instagram. 😀 As someone else said, looks a lot like Eric Janicki. 😍🔥🔥

Jeff Watson

You have a very unique viewpoint that balances manga style with realism that few people are successful at.

I always thought your look was very signature. I don’t mind it being “too perfect” since you aren’t trying to do photo realism. You are interpreting someone’s image into YOUR style. It’s not a valid criticism...I could see if you were trying to make photo realistic art.

dgo

Jow! This looks exceptional! While I don't think this direction is necessary for every single piece moving forward, it's definitely a nice approach to incorporate when suitable.

George Nelson

Muy bien logrado...aunque personalmente los anteriores los veo muy buenos también...remember when Madonna said...nobody perfect hehe

FHG

looks outstanding!

Damon Bradley

I love your style, a bit cartoonish, but really realistic. Truly the best artist for what im searching for, huge muscles guys. Love ❤️

oOroSlash

Sorry, I mean too "fake".

Silverjow

Is too perfect a critique?

Curly Jin

Well you don't need to photorealism to keep me happy, but I am impressed with the new filter or whatever.

Craig West

Wow. He looks like Eric Janecki.

Zanjoe

I don't mind that... It's a look. Signature style.
