I don't personally watch SAO but my team of immersion scientists advised that while Nicholas is from SAO and Leafa is from Alfheim, somewhere down the line the world of SAO got added as a location in Alfheim, so this crossover should be possible.
Suichi is entirely responsible for the composition and layout of this one - the Nicholas is directly traced from the draft he sent me, and then he also helped adjust the dimensions of Leafa's torso to sell the perspective a bit better.
P.S. While it's a very nicely drawn Nicholas, sometimes you just wanna look at the damsel, so a Leafa-only alt is attached. It's very barebones because I wasn't quite as clever with the layering here as I was for pictures like Blair, so no toggling Leafa+background, or Leafa+bag. Sorry!

I may never have been very keen on watching the series, but some of those Sword Arters (Artists?) sure do have cute designs! Great job on Leafa and googly-eyed Santa :D
