I'd been meaning to repay the favour, but 2020 & 2021 slipped by me. Their birthdays also happen to be just a couple of days apart (Mags Oct 29th, Ryner Nov 1st), so better late than never for a double whammy!
First up, Aer gets back at Leuedai! Aer has previously demonstrated a real mean streak when it comes to being denied tasty snacks ( https://www.deviantart.com/wossarem/art/A-Quiet-Taste-Reloaded-663684599 ), so Leuedai should'a thought twice before that whole cake tease! I guess you *could* argue that Wossy is just as deserving of vengeance, but W&A are always in a battle of tit-for-tat anyway, so there'd be nothing new there. :p Leuedai can't keep getting away with it!
Meanwhile, Aer and Freya receive a silent, mmph-y ovation for their hard work! Freya's outfit is from https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/100338751 as I'm a sucker for that lil' scarf, and Ryner is a big fan of tape-removal ( https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/90137621 ) so I tried to incorporate that too. Truthfully, I pretty much just ended up directly copying one of his own pics (middle head in the second image here https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/97384248 )... it was supposed to just be inspiration, but in my efforts to get her hairstyle and face etc looking accurate... yeah... He'd probably be happier with something properly original rather than a re-do of one of his own pics, but here we are. :X Ah well. On the bright side, there's nothing stopping me from drawing Freya again some other time!
I tried to do some style mimicry with both pieces, so the Freya pic has Ryner's double-layered shading and sharp-shine tape, while Leuedai has Magnolia's dialogue font and soft-haze after-effects.

I haven't really conversed with either of them much besides some flyby pleasantries on Discord servers, so maybe this is a little weird of me to say, but I'm really proud of both of them. Magnolia mentioned in the 2019 pic that I was an inspiration to them before they even started their DA account, and Ryner is pretty recent on the scene (here's Freya's first appearance in 2017, before she was even named https://www.deviantart.com/ryner-e/art/OC-4-696368238 ). The oldest pics in both M&R's DA accounts are only from around 2016-2017... that still feels like yesterday to me! To think that in the time since I started this Patreon (Nov 2016), these two have shown up and improved so much! They definitely keep me on my toes. Hell, I think they've already surpassed me in a lot of areas. Having people like Mags and Ryner around (plus Shio, Skelebomb, and plenty of others too) is sometimes intimidating ("oh geez, I'm getting blown out of the water!"), but also very inspiring and motivating ("if I put in the work, maybe I can keep up with them!"). So, finally finding the time to make these two pics was very cathartic.

T U T You've always been one of my biggest inspirations, especially when it comes to mimicking different styles cuz you're so dang good at it (as clearly seen above X3c)!!~ I'm constantly motivated to try and reach your level haha! XP Also way back when I was just starting out, I remember I always looked to your works for inspiration on how I could properly color and shade my own stuff cuz I didn't know what I was doing XD and your use of color was (and still is) so eye-catching!~ I could only make it as far as I have now because I've had so many great artists to look up to and strive towards ; w ;7 and that I still do! I always look back at the very fist "Escapades" for tge main inspiration for my own comic. Still to this day you've alwats been an inspiration. Even I also feel intimidated by the great people around me but like you said it's also inspiring. And hearing from someone I looked up to felt the same puts me at ease a lot. So I'm very thankful not only for the art but also for the very inspiring words. THANKS WOSSA!
