Monthly Fanart - June 2019 - 3rd Place - Rin

Decided to mash up a pair of suggestions: "you could switch it up this time with a tape gag with lips drawn over the center of it; perhaps her captor does this to make her look like more of a "proper maid" while being unable to talk back." and "Rin's got a big mouth, so I think a severely thick/layered gag would do nicely", the end result pretty much being the sequence that we didn't get to see with Aer in the Mundane Gag 2 WIP. :p (though there's still a chance for her, because drawing this kind of sequence is super fun!)
Her captor sure seems to love putting sticky labels on things!

To be fair, after listening to her harp her way through Fate, I think many of us were wishing for this...

2019-06-26 10:13:12 +0000 UTCKinda curious why Rin doesn't try to rip off her gags, unless her captor has added so many because she kept doing so in this scenario; that would definitely be in character for Rin, and explain the "Do Not Remove" label on her outermost OTM gag (meant for her as well as others). Although how would she be able to read it since...ahhh, details. Thanks for using part of my suggestion for this drawing, I didn't think that would happen (it means a lot that you liked it that much!) Combining it with the other comment is a genius move, not to mention your replacement of drawn lips with "I Love My Job!" (especially b/c that's the last thing that would be on Rin's mind in this drawing). The little details once again stand out to show her barely restrained temper, from the feather duster shaking slightly in her hands to the sweat drops both covered and uncovered by her jam-orbital-certified set of gags. The pose she's in seems to suggest her being deferential to her captor, and the way she holds her hands close together makes it look as if she's bowing (which again contrasts with that angry sidelong death glare), as if daring her captor to step close enough for her to attack him with her free hand; I'm assuming the feather duster has been magicked to remain in her other hand, something she'd be additionally ticked off about. If the 3rd place drawing is this detailed, I have a good feeling that the 1st and 2nd place pics will be spectacular (even if not as drawn as a sequence). Definitely looking forward to a possible Aeria version too, but take your time! I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
