Sketches, WIPs and End of Month Ramble
Added 2019-06-26 02:48:44 +0000 UTCAs with the Queen Samus Drafts , I often accumulate a bunch of scrapped sketches inbetween the finished pieces that get posted here, but more content is always better and maybe some of you will get a kick out of some of the rough ideas presented here.
At the top are a few more chibis for that Chibi Lineup. LOZ's Elvina and Serena, Tightly's Liz, and Jam's self-insert. With Elijah's Jo and Jorcy in the mix too, the third row is almost complete. There are so many characters I want to include though, that I'm looking at a FOURTH... Sheesh! Forget Cyberpunk 2077, more like Wossa Finishes His Chibi Parade In 2077!
There's an alternate start to the Mundane Gag there, with Aer washing some dishes.
A few random Aers throughout the page (ah, I guess the top right is Mundane Gaggery too, actually!), including a couple of scrapped Easter bunny concepts.
At the bottom is the current state of the previously teased PrisonAer sequence. I come back to this one whenever I get a spare moment, so it's been progressing very slowly. Just one extra step added to it, and then flats for a few of the previous steps. The spandex straitjacket is a placeholder colour for now, and the shrinkwrap step is only half coloured (plus I'll no doubt want to make a nice, shiny effect on it too!). I think there should only be one or two steps left to go. Tighten up the straps on that board, and then suspend her, or put her in a box... maybe put her in a box and then suspend that!? Who knows. I'm just doing improv whenever I open the file! :p

tl;dr July and August are going to be quiet for $3-7 patrons, Escapades #4 coming September, August $10 pledges are guaranteed a copy, mushy late night rambling
Long version: Phew! Anyway, we're nearing the end of another month, so now's the opportune time to think about your pledge and if you're content to continue throwing money at me! I feel I should give fair warning that I'm about to enter crunch-mode for Escapades Issue 4, so please be advised that July and August are going to be light on posts for $3 and $7 Patrons. I'll still be doing the votes so those pics are guaranteed, but random WossyAers or Lucky Draws will be scarce.
Speaking of Escapades, at the start of the year I made a big fancy schedule which I've just updated, and some big dumb promises that I couldn't keep. Currently, I have September 8th marked on my calendar as the deadline for Issue 4 (the same date Issue 3 was released - seemed fitting, but it really shouldn't be taking me a year per issue...), so I'll just repeat what I did last year: August $10 pledges will be entitled to a copy of the issue, regardless of if they cancel their pledge before the September charges. Patreon lets me see who pledged for any given month even after they've left, so I can send individual messages to the relevant people to ensure they get their copy.
I don't really know what excuses I can make. It's just been really, really difficult... (ง ͠ಥ_ಥ)ง
Aaanyway... I say it every time: I'm so grateful to all of you for supporting me. The only way I can show my gratitude is by delivering the content that you're entitled to, and I often feel like I'm falling short on that. Whenever another artist opens up a Patreon, amidst the well-wishes, there are always also a few comments from upset fans who expect to see a lot of content get paywalled away, "punished for being poor"... I never want anyone to feel like they've been forced to pledge to me, or taken advantage of. The content doesn't get cycled out (aside from previous Esc issues) and repackaged - so if you ever feel I've not been holding up my end of the bargain, or maybe IRL bills and obligations are grabbing at your wallet, whatever the reason, please always know that it only takes a few clicks to lower or cancel your pledge, and if you ever want to bump back up or return anytime in the future, everything will still be here for you and you'll be welcomed back with open arms from myself, and closed, tightly cinched arms from Wossy and Aeria 'cuz the bondage will never stop coming, as long as I'm capable of drawing! ━━━━ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟ )ﾉ━━━━!!!!

Always great to see more of your concept drawings and sketch art, and this collection is no exception. The mundane gags with Aeria washing dishes and listening to music stand out especially from her more restrained poses with Wossy as her "handler"; you could always create polls to see what rejected drawings your patrons would like to see fully realized, that could be a fun every-once-in-a-while project. Good luck with the rest of your chibi parade, I'm sure you can finish it before Cyberpunk 2077 hits shelves before Aril 2020 rolls around. Speaking of, does anyone else now want to see a drawing of Wossy in the Keanu pose from the trailer? ("Wake up, Samaerai. We've got a city to burn...") The Prisonaer Sequence drawings are interesting, although I'm personally not a fan of the masks that completely cover her face; it kinda takes away the personalities of certain characters when, rather than just their mouths being covered, none of their face is visible. But hey, this is your project and you have the final word, the earlier sentences are just my two cents thrown in. For all I know, your final results for this latex-straitjacket sequence may change my mind altogether! Yeah schedules can be a pain to deal with, and we're not always gonna be able to line everything up perfectly (it's how we make do with these unexpected difficulties that's key). As for the comics, I'm not gonna sit here and judge you for miscalculating when I have no experience whatsoever in even laying out a storyboard, let alone coloring in panels. You've already put up so much great content with older comics and drawings that, even though future releases might be late, it's not like we have nothing else to look at. ANd yes, sometimes I can't help but notice how all my Patreon pledges (including yours), stack up over time. I recently deleted a couple b/c the total cost was just too much to continue throwing money at for much longer. Obviously you weren't among them, and I'm glad to be supporting you in your artistic journey going forward.
