April is still on - I wouldn't miss the Bunny Vote for the world!).

We're all familiar with the bunnybust base by now (http://fav.me/ddojjay) - it'd be nice to make a new one for this year but I'm already behind on things so shouldn't push my luck any further than I'm already doing.. Anyway, gag suggestions welcome.

Supergirl - " After a few months off and nice look at the promise of cuteness that  would result, I'll give Supergirl one more shot for a fun scene where she's very securely bound and gagged in a manner befitting her  impressive powers. Or maybe just dealing with some gold Kryptonite Harley put on her so she can't even get out of a bunch of simple ropes  and leather gear like a good little Super-brat. :3

She had a very small and non-detailed frame of being captured by the security bots, let's improve on that! " [Wossa note: Unless anyone has any better ideas, I'm taking this prompt to essentially mean 'Ochako's pic ( http://fav.me/dddg2iq ) but with Jiro'. Obviously not the same exact pose, but like, same kind of bindings etc.]

I guess the main idea could be a follow up to her previous picture  ( https://www.deviantart.com/wossarem/art/July-2018-2-3rd-Place-Neopolitan-782841571 ) and become a maid at Junior's much like Yang did in her's. ( https://www.deviantart.com/wossarem/art/July-2019-2nd-Place-Yang-828955544  ) As for her outfit maybe something similar to Yang's where she is heavily restrained because much like her she's probably not one you want to leave easily restrained.  Don't know if it will help at all but  given her personality I'd say she would be quite angry at the situation.   "  [Wossa note: Sounds good. Now for the less fun stuff.

As explained in the description for https://www.patreon.com/posts/monthly-fanart-35050210 , I'm still climbing out of a massive funk, possibly the worst I've ever had. Meanwhile, work keeps falling further and further behind and it's you guys that end up losing money over it! Even with that in mind.. In the quest to get back on track, I'm going to skip May's fanart vote entirely in the quest to catch up. April will still happen as normal (c'mon, it's the Bunny Season vote, my favourite of the year!).
Previously when I'd had to skip a month's vote, I put the Patreon on hold entirely so nobody would be charged. I'd love to do that again when May comes around, but to be honest I just can't afford it. As such, throughout the second half of April I'll be giving frequent and loud reminders to everyone to consider temporarily cancelling/pausing their pledges before May - especially if this quarantine keeps up and people's employers/governments aren't providing support.

Eh, I'll take this opportunity to go on a ramble too, why not?

The discussion has come up many times among my friends, collaborators and the Patreon channel of my Discord server ( https://discord.gg/sFs2gHH ) - I wonder if these votes are perhaps beginning to outstay their welcome. There's always such a low number of submissions and I've had people directly tell me that they don't bother submitting because they know their character has no chance in a popularity contest. I'm also wary of becoming known as a fanartist, when OC stuff is supposed to be my primary focus. On the other hand, it's good that these fanarts force me out of my comfort zone and get me drawing some creative scenes! I think I've had some real improvement in my art come about because of fanart winners forcing me to learn new techniques and approach problems differently. Sooo, I don't really wanna ditch them entirely.

One potential alternative is to still run a vote, but the characters are selected by myself from my own little bucket list of characters that get my motor going. The problem there is that it takes away one of the $10 tier's perks, and if I'm to change things up I'd really prefer to at least do 'side-grades' rather than outright 'downgrades' to the stuff being offered here. Maybe have Patrons decide the gear/scene etc instead, as ElijahPink's "Democracy vs The Doctor" has been a real riot...

I think I'll compile a few possible options to go forward with, and then ironically put the fate of the vote to a vote.

Anyway, thanks for hearing out my worries, and the amazing support you've already given me so far. I don't mean to use you all as my therapists - that's something *I* should be paying for, not the other way around!

My mojo will return eventually, and I'll be better than ever. There's still so much I want to do, so many pictures to make and stories to tell!
