Wossa's Waifus - August 2020 - Fighters! - Vote

Welcome to the first Wossa's Waifus vote!

In case you missed my long, rambling posts from a couple of months ago: this is a bonus vote that will occur every other month (ie Aug/Oct/Dec) in addition to the regular monthly vote. The twist is that it's rigged in my favour - I've preselected the lineup with some of my own favourite characters so that no matter who wins, I win! >:)

So that it's not just a random pick of girls I like, I decided to go with a theme. For this round: Fighters! Rough 'n tumble chicks! Hoo hah!

You said it, Spike! ...But, y'know, they're only as tough as the player controlling them, and if you're a scrub like me you're probably quite familiar with the ol' "You lose! Continue?" screens... ;)

Misako (River City Girls)

A super charming 2019 beat'em'up with gorgerous visuals and head-bopping music ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xyHC8CiBXE ). Misako is a brilliant source of sass, and Sui and I often joke about the game's alternate title being "Aeria and Melanie go on a rampage". :p

Blaze (Streets of Rage)

Lil' Wossa spent many an evening bashing heads in Streets of Rage 2 on the Megadrive/Genesis, and the recent revival of the franchise with new hand-drawn art didn't disappoint. Actually, the only thing that did disappoint was that Blaze's design in 4 doesn't include her tights... but I can easily fix that myself, right? ;)

I'm a super casual fighting game player, so while I own a few KoF games I never took the time to git gud. Lucky for me, Sui introduced me to the mobile game that's actually a sidescrolling beat'em'up, which (if you hadn't guessed by now) is much more up my alley, and Whip immediately found a place on my team because she happens to  l̶o̶o̶k̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶b̶o̶d̶y̶ ̶e̶l̶s̶e̶ ̶w̶e̶ ̶k̶n̶o̶w̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶  be really strong! Th-that's all! She's just really good, okay? :X

As with Whip, it's not like I ever got gud at Guilty Gear either... But I-No's always been on my mind ever since playing X2#Reload back on the original Xbox - and she looks absolutely gorgeous in the recent 3D rendered games, too! <3

So, with all that said, please cast your vote - unlike the regular votes, you only get one vote this time, since it's such a small pool of entrants in the first place. There'll only be one winner, but if it's any consolation to the losers; like I said above, I actually love all of these characters, so don't be surprised if I draw some or all of the other three sometime in the future. This vote is just deciding which of them gets drawn right now!
