Monthly Fanart - July 2020 - Asylum - 1st Place - Wossy

Wossy gets her turn on the Beta Latex application device! You can read up on it in the "Beta_omissions.html" file in the Chainsman Institute archive. https://www.deviantart.com/arnie00/art/Chainsman-Institute-722820040

According to the "restraint_beta.html" file, Beta Latex IS actually totally permeable ("Extensive testing has demonstrated that it has absolutely no known allegenic properties when it does dry upon human (or any other type of) skin and that despite appearing impermeable it actually assists gaseous permeability at the molecular level. This ensures that there is no danger of skin suffocation should a living organism become completely coated in Beta Latex."), but the subjects also have their noses plugged during the procedure, so that's why they get a ring-gäg afterwards - it's simply to ensure that their mouth doesn't close leaving them with no airways. Anyway, we'll just say Wossy is wearing a slightly newer version that doesn't flood the nostrils, so she's breathing through her nose just fine here.

Anyway, initially the third step was a pretty standard, forward-facing shot, but then I decided there wasn't enough energy and struggling so drew a slightly twistier pose. Theeennnn I realized that I now had two mummified poses, and with some crafty mirroring, a "third" wouldn't be much trouble either. One thing led to another, and voila, we have an animated Wossy! :D

I've also separately exported the 3 steps, and 4 frames of animation. You can find them all in the July Dropboxes:

Fabulous, *fabulous* work!

Geez, nobody appreciates a friendly chatterbox anymore (who is easy to capture no less!), what IS the world coming to? Ah well, throw the switch, lol!

Man the Chainsman Institute was fun back in the day. The narrative text, the website design with different sections and transitions, the endless little Easter Eggs. Nice to see a callback.

Wonderful work, and it is always great to see the Chainsman Institute getting some support again!
