Here's the idea that was presented for Asuka:

It seems that someone at NERV got sick of her tsudere personality and decided to help her admit her feelings to her fellow pilot. They riggerd her plugsuit to turn into an inflated straitjack shaped like a heart with the words "Be Mine' written on the front of it. Sadly this all ended up happening in front of Rei instead, leaving both rather confused and embarassed

I'm struggling to think of when I've ever done inflatable stuff, so that actually sounds like a fun challenge. I'll do a tighter "plugsuit SJ" as an alt underneath too, for people who'd rather see her defined form underneath.
