I really love IMBeternal's ( https://www.deviantart.com/imbeternal ) way of drawing mummies. They're quite simple, but there's a real confidence to the form. Perusing their gallery got me motivated to try and follow their example, and then I thought a couple of the poses would look nice as Treadrolls, too.

I also spent a little while confronting one of my "art-ch nemesis..es"..?.. Uh--
So, sometimes I just seem to totally forget how anatomy works, like how long torsos should be and how they bend - and sometimes I have to admit that there are some things I've always kinda avoided learning at all, like what hips are. Or more accurately, what a pelvis looks like and how it affects the hips. Over the years I've received a lot of compliments on how I draw BIG HIPS, LIL' WAIST, AHYUK , with biiig ol' hourglass booties and thighs, etc - but it's honestly always been kind of a happy accident . So, this sheet of scribbly torsos from copying and tracing photos and trying to figure out what goes where and how it all fits together probably isn't particularly exciting, but I figure I should be sharing everything I make! Actually, those hooded heads are pretty - they're from an older study where I realized I've spent a long time drawing skulls totally spherical at the top ( like this one, for example ), when they should actually be a little more oval-y. And the "yeah, lemons!" thing was from a really cool trick from this tutorial (top right) . Megaman fanart was some of the first stuff I ever drew, so I can get behind megaboots becoming hips and thighs! :p
