Health Update - [Good News]

I'll get straight to the point.
So, basically, after six months of taking those TB meds, my doctor finally gave me a nod. Yes, as you read it—I am officially TB-free! However, I still have a few more weeks of medication to complete to ensure the coast is clear.
I can’t lie; it has been one hell of a painful six months. I wouldn’t have made it through without your support and nudge. Your messages and comments, together with the vibes, were incredible. You guys are the best!
Now that this burden is off my chest(literally), I'd like to bring back the wallpapers soon. That said, there are many things to do for this update. I expected it to be, but it went beyond my expectations. I had never had such a heavy workload before! So it's not for this month, but soon enough, that's for sure.
Here is a big THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. We'll keep moving forward.

Thats SOP. But sometimes they forget to write standing orders out 100% (had a few times where i called a Dr. and had to ask if they wanted me to kill the patient or they forgot something). If i remember (had a few TB patients here but not that many... I just always wind up on exposure list somehow cause no one says s... stuff) after about 5 years odds of it coming back without new exposure or some other outside fact is very low. First 5 also low but in the make sure to follow up.

2024-04-11 16:23:29 +0000 UTCThanks for the heads up. Yeah, the doctor don't like the skin test, either. They required me an xray, blood test, and sputum test for confirmation that I'm clear, but no skin tests. All I'll be doing now is finish my remaining meds, and hope that no relaps will happen.

Just remember keep up with follow up, and if you need tested again (for like a job change or the like) do not do the skin test (not sure if required where you live or what job fields but I give the warning). You will need to request an x ray. If you skin test it can cause itching and pain. (no tb but positive for anti body due to exposure in labs when younger.. learnt that the hard way).
