[Status Report #1] Sicae - Episode 7

What’s good, everyone? 👋

I'm back to kick off the development of Sicae Episode 7! We’re officially back in action, people! 🎉

I’m well rested, recharged, and absolutely itching to dive back into work. Words can’t describe how hyped I am for this final episode of the game's first series. This one’s going to hit harder, run deeper, and deliver bigger thrills than anything I’ve done before. Three fight scenes in Episode 6? Pfft, child’s play. Episode 7 is gonna blow that out of the water.

But let’s not sleep on the story either—it’s packed. When I say this episode has a lot going on, I mean a lot. We’re talking multiple arcs, big reveals, and some major character moments. Nicole and the twins are stepping into the spotlight in a big way, but don’t worry—the rest of the main crew isn’t just standing around. Almost every key player has a role to play as the stakes climb higher in their next missions.

Because of all this, Episode 7 is shaping up to be a hefty update, bigger than any of the ones before. Naturally, that means it’ll take longer to develop. We managed to crank out the last episode in three months, but this time? It’s a different beast. You remember me saying the latest MBML update was a grind, right? Yeah, that was a stroll in the park compared to what’s coming. So I’m asking for a little patience while I work my way through it. Don’t worry—I’ll keep you in the loop every step of the way.

Right now, I’m deep into planning the roadmap and story outline for Episode 7. With this much content on the table, I need to get everything just right. Plus, with the holidays around the corner, things might start off slow. Between family visits and some overdue downtime (yes, I do have a life outside my office—shocking, I know. 😅), I’ll be balancing work and celebrations.

On the progress front, I’ve already broken the bank (again) to bring in some fresh drips for the update. You caught a sneak peek of two of them in Episode 6’s post-credits scene with Lance and the Princess. And heads up: these outfits won’t just be for Sicae! For example, Lisa’s outfit might just double as a detective look for Emma in MBML. I’m loving the smart-casual vibes, and it’d be a shame not to reuse it. There are more outfits coming, too—like this trench coat for male characters.

It’s still a little buggy, but once that’s fixed, I’ll show it off in a future report.
