-- A heartfelt message and a time for a decision --

Dear lads and lasses,

I hope you are all doing great and that you are enjoying the latest update of LCC and MBML so far.

I wanted to take the time to thank all my old and new Patreon subscribers, from which without them, this adventure and games wouldn't exist in the first place. Thanks to your continuous and generous support, you gave me the resources necessary to create MBML and LCC, but also the time to learn and improve. As you might have noticed from the last few releases, the writing and the renders' overall quality have been heavily improved from when I started developing the games.

I keep learning new things every day and improving existing knowledge, and I can't wait for you guys to see what we have in stock for the following updates for both LCC and MBML. As the plots thicken and the stories unfold, I am sure you will find something you are looking for and much more.

Stay tuned, and once again, thank you for making this possible.

However, as the main stories will progress, a lot of time will be invested in offering choices and alternates routes for each of our primary LI and our MCs. I do not want to do a Tell-tale on you and give you simply the illusion of choice, but on the contrary, I want each and every single one of you to be able to make his own choices, impacting MBML's or LCC's story as a whole.

Moreover, I am trying my best to offer you guys with refined products and a great experience as a whole. It's for this reason that I want to ask you a crucial question today. As you know, at the moment, I am mainly developing the game alone and trying to stick to deadlines for two games, while also going back and forth between them each month, is starting to take a toll on me.

As the writing and programming will soon complexify, I have been thinking about changing my current workflow and release schedule. As it stands now, a process of a "2-months / 1-month release" like Mr. Dots is doing with DMD and Sunshine Love would allow me to spread the workflow better and deliver larger and more complex updates to you guys.

However, it means that one game will take longer to be released and before taking any decision. In all fairness, I want to hear the opinions of the people supporting me and that I hope to see continuing to support me in the future as well.

But before making a decision, here's something I'm planning to implement on both games:

As we all probably know, MBML is currently down under the spot light and has all people's attention, and it makes me sad seeing LCC being left behind in terms of engagement, because in my opinion LCC has deeper story than of MBML. And even if MBML is reigning out of the two games, I still personally love LCC way more than MBML. So with that said, I want to overhaul both writing/dialogues and renders. I'm also planning to revamp some of the current LI's and change their design entirely. And with that as a plan, I want to restart LCC's progress back to episode 1 again. This will allow me improve everything without killing my self. This is the biggest decision I've made my entire life(I'm not exaggerating), and so with the will to make LCC better, this will happen whether you choose LCC to lead or not. I'm sad that I had to say goodbye to some of the characters' designs, but in order to improve LCC, it has to be done.

Of course, I do have a plan with MBML as well. I want to offer solo routes on each girls, and this will only be possible if I focus on it more. But... I won't release/open the solo routes until that certain girl's route story is finished. So, until then, I will put a place holder on the choice to take solo route on that girl. Solo routes will start once we hit episode 10.

Here below the three options available, do not hesitate to comment if you have any ideas or opinions you want to share with me. And take note: NOTHING WILL GET ABANDONED, NOT OVER MY DEAD BODY.

Option A : I want MBML to take the lead
Option B : I want LCC to take the lead
Option C : Do not change anything to the current management but expect smaller updates or delays as the games move forwards.

Once again, thank you for everything, lads and stay tuned for more very soon! Love you all,

NiiChan Inc.

I really enjoy both games as they are.The girl are cuties and the story are quite good. Don't change to much plz.!

I prefer MBML more BUT i also think its silly for you to work on it if you would personally like to finish LCC first. so my vote is LCC

CaptainP

I can't wait!

Olivier Plante

We'll reset with LCC tho. So be ready for another journey XD

NiiChan

LCC is the way to go as it did come first.

Spiderfox

I wanted to know how the first one finish.

Olivier Plante

I see you went to vote LCC as well. Good choice, mate!

NiiChan

I didn't know it was 2 years... or maybe I just forgot. It's funny that I realized that after playing them backward, I finished MBML and saw that there was another game and when I've played it I realized those were the same characters and that they were in a relationship. I was only a bit disappointed because I thought LCC was finish because it has a sequel. But it's fine, the story is still pretty good!

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ its fun to clown on you πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

OEJ123

2 years, I told you! XD

NiiChan

Please read carefully before voting. The poll will end in 2 days.

NiiChan

Yeah, kinda. MBML happens 1 to 2 months after LCC

OEJ123

I think LCC should take the lead since it seems that its story as already happened in MBML with its characters being in a relationship in it, making MBML kinda a sequel to LCC.

Olivier Plante

I heard ya. That's actually a pretty good suggestion. But, we'll see.

NiiChan

I like both games, so I wouldn't want to see one prioritized over the other, especially since there is some cross-over of the characters between the 2 VNs. Why not consider a 2-month release schedule per game? I know that it means reducing the number of releases over the year, but it would allow you more time time focus on one project per 2-month cycle (and we can get a meatier update each release). I know you looked at MrDots as an example, but you are 1 person working 2 projects, compared to the 4 (I think) members on his team. Don't burn yourself out as well, because none of us want you to lose your passion for these wonderful projects. Best of luck with whatever you decide.

John Smith

Oh boi. Very hard decision indeed. I want to see both games equally, but I get that switching it every month might not be ideal for you regarding the creation of stories. So I'm personally not sure either since I like the characters in MBML more, but on the other hand, the story in LCC feels more thrilling.

Mike2051

That will be the 3rd choice. As I have said above post, it will be hard to keep up once the games complexify. Ideas will be hard to retain if I kept on going back and forth on both games. But still it will be yall's decision.

NiiChan

How about rotating releases. If we are expecting a different release each month or so, then it will make keeping both games going at the same time. So long as each release is substantial and entertaining, then there shouldn't be too much bitching. it's impossible to eliminate all bitching, but that is life brother

Jay Martinez

I didn't expect LCC to take the lead head first XD

NiiChan

This is an extremely difficult decision for me as well. But, I still have to prioritize my health. As someone said to me before, "there will be no product if there's no producer".

NiiChan

This was a hard one. But more than anything I want you to understand we appreciate all the hard work you do. Regardless of what everyone votes, I feel like you should do what's best for you. Don't stress yourself out and take your time. I'll support either way.
