Sometimes a strong female character looks at me and it's scary, even if she's tied up. Blindfold is a good way to prevent it. :) Actually, I've never done a metroid series before. So I had to take advice from my friend. Thanks to him, I was able to learn about the characters in the game. I'm probably going to paint the background of that.

I can't wait to find out how you'll incorporate Metroid's storyline into the background, hopefully that'll be fun for you to draw (definitely so for us to look at). Also, great job with the realism of the duct tape thinning over her breasts, from the viewer's perspective. She looks ready to kick some space pirate butt, despite legs being taped up at the ankles and near the knees. I'm betting her captors didn't take her seriously enough as a fighter, which is why she appears to be laying down rather than tied to a chair ("More of a nuisance than a threat, Captain.") Perhaps she was thrown into a shipping container, hence her bent legs.
