MBML Episode 7 Status Report #4

Hello, everyone!
The update is finally done and now is in the beta phase! It's currently under proofreading and beta testing but I want to lay down what I did this past month and what the update contains.

Changelog:

• 662+ images
• 4432 lines of codes
• 12 animations (This time, I pushed to create my own animations. At least, 90% of them are)
• Emma's Second Arc Finale
• Aine's First Arc - Part 1
• Main Story Arc
• Placed Lily's Track backstory in a point checker - That means if you are not following her, you won't see that part of her story
• Dialogue improvements from Episode 1 to 3 (added and removed some)
• Reworked trigger variables for character routes
• Reworked Character Menu - Included Moon in the Selection
• You now have an option to change Klara and Sky's relationship tags mid-game. (Click on their character images)
• 15 total new background music and SFX

As you can see, there's a lot. 😅
Let's set the images and codes aside and talk about the animations instead.
From now on, I will be doing my own animations instead of relying only on what Honey Select has to offer. It has been a pain that I have so limit myself all the time especially when making H-Scenes. They do take days to make, but when done right, the results are great! Also, this episode's animations are far from perfect, but I'll continue on improving. With the limitation lifted, the future of the game's h-scenes are looking great! I can pretty much do anything now!

Skipping that three bullets, I won't spoil you anything. 😂

I placed Lily's Track and Field backstory in a point checker in episode 6. It was unnecessary to include in the main story and was super long. So if you are not following Lily, you will no longer see that part of her back story in episode 6.

There has been a lot of dialogue improvements from episode 1 to 3, I removed unnecessary lines as well. I feel they are now easy to read than before. Honestly, I died reading them back myself. 🤣

As I have mentioned in the previous status report, I'm reworking some of the variables in the game that triggers the events. Now, they are tidy and are easy for me to follow in the future. Because of this you will have to restart the game once again, but I provided a save file at the end of episode 6 for your convenience. This will be the last time, I promise. 😅

The Character Menu has been overhauled. I made it easier for you to see their points and you can now check if you are inside their route or not. You don't have to click them and just hover over their character images. This will be our final Character menu design until the game is completed.
You can also change Klara and Sky's relationship tags mid-game in the character menu. (see the 3rd and 4th images) Just click on their images and there will be three pop ups in succession to change the tags. It's... a bit fiddly at the moment, but I will improve it later on.

Then there's Moon...
Yeah, she's our final LI in the game. I guess there are a lot here that's wanting her to be one, no? 😂 Her formal introduction will be in episode 7.
