Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys, had two brain aneurysms during the shows run. The first was right after filming S1. She was 24 at the time. She had surgery to fix the bleed. She was told she had a small aneurysm on the opposite side but they weren't too concerned about. She left the hospital after a month. After filming S3, it ruptured. Another month in the hospital and a too close brush with death, she was released. I've condensed it as much as possible. I have nothing but respect for that woman.
