Lucas is misunderstood this season imo. He just wants to find his friend. That’s it. He doesn’t care about El because in his mind she’s just some random girl that popped up at the wrong time. Seems to me like he feels that she’s taking away attention from what he feels should be the main focus - finding their friend. Honestly, I 100% feel where he’s coming from. He just wants to focus on finding Will and not get distracted by a newcomer to the group.

He's annoyed because he just wants find Will. But Elle is the "new" person or the group, in the midst of them looking for Will. This type of character changes every season, within the group.

The thing that stuck out to me, was even when he doubted what Joyce was saying, he still investigated and fought for the truth. I can't imagine all of this happening and trying to figure it out or explain it. We're really just scratching the surface in Season 1....I think you will be very impressed as you get answers to all your questions. Love your reactions....you're such a genuinely kind, loving person. There's not enough of that in the world today....thanks for being you girl!
