But Im not so sure its a spoiler. Almost everyone watching HOTD had already watched GOT so I would see it more as foreshadowing than spoiler. Everybody knew how the movie Titanic would end (except the selfish door hog part) and it was till a good movie. Young Sheldon. Lots of shows and movies are prequels were things are known in advance. Often the drama of how it comes about, how we get there in the story is all the drama and tension.

Arya's in that top tier too. Several I'd include just below but I'll wait to name them because it would make no sense at this point.

At age 12 my parents wouldn’t invest in violin lessons for me because of a movie I was obsessed with, but I did get a guitar, solely to learn how to play the theme song. Then learned how to play it on piano. I owe any and all musical skills to that film. Also my career as a high school teacher of American history. 🎼🇺🇸🙂

SO cool how the opening is different every episode and gives us a little heads up on where this episodes story will be taking us.

GOT is one of the greatest works of television of all time. I love the music, the map, and so many of the characters. 8 seasons, 10 episodes a season until 6 in the last season. We have SUCH a long ways to go with so many of these characters.... the ones that survive. Its hard to explain the impact this show had years ago before youtube and other online platforms were the thing they are now. How much everyone watched the show on Sundays then talked about it every Monday at work. What a life of its own this show really had.

2024-10-16 22:51:13 +0000 UTC“Shadowbaby” is a PG I’ve heard for the thing that killed Stannis though there are some much funnier off color ones too 😂 Also, not a spoiler, but watching this again after in a future episode Brienne reveals why she is so loyal to Renly gives it so much more emotional depth. When I first saw it I was wondering why she was so emotional on like her second day on the job as Kingsguard. All is revealed in time.
