I just signed up for this Patreon, and I know it's only $5, but man is the lack of sync on everything I've looked at annoying. A shame since she's a pretty good reactor from what I saw on YT. And she has the show audio playing with her commentary, so you can't mute her video of the show and use your own window that's more in sync with the show in it, because then you can't hear her commentary. I'm just gonna leave and watch the YT edits. Sorry, Amber!

2024-10-25 06:46:05 +0000 UTCAwesome to hear that. Not many people react to this show and that is pity because it is really good show. Now I have one more question I hope you don't mind 🤭 which Flanagan's show did you liked the most

2024-10-22 05:08:40 +0000 UTCDid you watch Bates Motel? And if yes, did you liked it? I think that would also be great show for Amber to react to it. Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore are great in this show!!

2024-10-21 14:05:39 +0000 UTCMy Mom fed her sister's arm through one of these washers when they were kids. She thought she'd come out flat on the other side! She almost lost her arm. Everytime I see these washers I think of that story.

2024-10-20 22:58:47 +0000 UTCI love your reactions so much, but on the editing, I think it should be better synced, like we see you react 2-3 seconds later to what happens in the episode, it's kinda jarring, but maybe that's just me :/

2024-10-20 12:27:46 +0000 UTCThe smiley face that Theo drew looked exactly like the knots in the wood ceiling. One eye bigger on the same side and all. That's what made her go investigate it. Btw, I will always love how quick you are to catch things. The mom saying Theo and her were similar was a damn good catch. There's also an episode coming up they did a one take scene that was like 13 minutes or something. That was some beautiful camera work. It's basically when the family, or what's left of it, gather at Shirley's for the funeral. You're right about the writing as well. This series is one of the best with its screenplay. There's also a couple other movies that have some of the same actors, like The Haunting Of Bly Manor. It's mind of like American Horror Story. Same actors most seasons playing a slew of different roles.

2024-10-20 10:06:50 +0000 UTCThere is a book "The Haunting of Hill House" by Shirly Jackson. This series is only VERY loosely based on the book, to the point that it's a completely different story which incorporates just a few elements as a retelling. There's a very good film "The Haunting" from 1963 that's an adaptation of the book and a great haunted house film. Then in the late 1990s, King and Spielberg collaborated on a script for a new adaptation, but cancelled the collaboration due to creative differences. King incorporated his portion of the material into "Rose Red". Speilberg hired a new writer for the Hill House project and his studio DreamWorks produced the 1999 adaptation. Though the latter version has it's fans, it has more critics with a 5/10 rating at IMBD, and Rotten Tomatoes giving it 17% on the tomato meter and 28% on the popcorn meter. Meanwhile the 1963 version has a score of 7.4/10 at IMDB, 87% in the tomato meter and 82% on the popcorn meter. Would love for you to do the 1963 version after finishing this series. There's also a series called "A Haunting" which would be great for you to check out. Each episode is a combo of naration and docudrama about real life hauntings. The first episode is "A Haunting in Connecticut" which was based on the Sneddecker family haunting and was one of the Ed and Lorrain Warren cases. That story then was adapted into the film of the same name but imo that series episode was much scarier.

2024-10-20 05:39:57 +0000 UTCA dumbwaiter is a lift or elevator used for transporting things, mostly food, between floors. They used to be widely used among the wealthy, by their staff, to lessen what they would have to carry up the stairs. You can actually still purchase them to install in your home.
