2024-10-23 04:13:40 +0000 UTCI have a funny workplace email story from the 1990s. One day a co-worker decided to share an off-color joke with another co-worker via email. I won’t mention the sender’s name, but the recipient’s name was Andrea. Rather than writing Andrea’s name in the recipient box, the sender selected from a drop-down list. Unfortunately, her finger slipped and she selected the name right above Andrea’s. The name happened to be: ALL-STAFF. Realizing her error, she sent out another ALL-STAFF email to apologize for the indiscretion. But rather than creating a new email, she did a ‘Reply to All,’ which allowed us to read the dirty joke for a second time. I know this doesn’t have anything to do with The Office episode we just watched, but it reminded me of one of my own days at the office. Hope I did my job and made you all smile today.
