2024-11-14 17:58:07 +0000 UTCI stopped doubting Dany pretty early on. Everytime she's handed some BS horrible situation, she turns it to her advantage. I remember watching this episode for the first time, I knew there was no way she'd give up her child. I told my husband that she understood the language and was going to burn their ass, i just knew she had it.....afterwards he asked me what made me think that and how did I know? I just said, "Because that's what I would do. Allow people to underestimate you, then shock them with the realization that your perceived weaknesses are actually your strenths." She is quite impressive. One of the best characters. So much more to come...I can't wait! Thanks for the reaction! Love ya!❤️

Definitely one of the great scenes in a show that has a few. An excellent scene to rewind for sure. (I have been waiting for SO long for this scene to finally get here. lol)

When she starts speaking Valyrian and tells them that she has the blood of Old Valyria in her and that Valyrian was her mother's native tongue, DAMN! And then you have her ride out of there with 8K unsullied soldiers and 3 bad ass dragons flying above, how could that not bring out a tear (or two). She had you for a moment there, didn't she? There's no way she's giving up one of her babies. Cant wait for the rest of the season. (Also side note, since you mentioned it: Cant wait for Onyx Storm).

Growing up the way they did they both learned to be ruthless to survive but I think Jamie still maintained a lot of his humanity. Also what's genious is they cast Iwan Rheon as Ramsay because he's well know in his former show "misfits" as being a super nice nerdy hero so if you know the actor the reveal that he's working against Theon makes all the more shocking.
