I second LOST!!!

Just Me Chris

Ally McBeal is a 90's tv show about a lady named Ally McBeal, that's the reference lol. And the "You've come a long way baby" was a cigarette ad in the 80s

Adam Carey

Btw, the fashions in those ads in the link above are great to look at - amazing, funny, strange, the whole gamut of vintage fashions, esp the 70s stuff. 💃🏻

“Go home Roger!” 😂😆 that killed me Amber, I hadn’t thought of Sister/Sister in forever, lol. Also LOST is my personal favorite show of all-time and I’d LOVE to see you react to this! (eventually) I know you got a lot of shows going right now, lol.

No we don't need another show with so many seasons(Lost) we already have GOT 😬 and Dark is better then lost 😂😂 please lost fans don't get mad at me 🎤

Ok so at the beginning of the episode when Michael interrupts their meeting he says, “the Ally McBeal woman” Ally McBeal was a popular tv show in the late 90s/ early aughts starring Calista Flockhart as a lawyer trying to succeed in her career while working alongside her ex boyfriend. It had a new style for tv at the time, a drama with comedy and fantasy elements. Then, “You’ve come a long way, baby” was an ad slogan for Virginia Slims cigarettes from the 60s thru the 80s that used the idea of the liberated woman to sell cigarettes. It’s been criticized for exploiting the feminist movement and referenced to in art and media a lot. https://tobacco.stanford.edu/cigarettes/womens-cigarettes/youve-come-along-way-baby/ Basically Michael wants to seem knowledgeable and cool as always 🙃

I agree lost is a great show, defiantly worth watching. Another show you may want to check out at some point, which is one of my fav. shows and i think one of the best shows ever is 24

I love how these episodes develop some of the more minor characters. Daryl has always been one of my favorites. Kelly is always really funny when she is in episodes too, but since she is a writer (along with Toby and Ryan) she's rarely in them. That's the reason that the three of them have their offices in the "annex" so tt looks like there is a reason you don't see them as much.

Lost would probably be a show you'd enjoy after finishing some of the others.
