As horrible as the red wedding is, the truth is that Rob was in the middle of a war. He made a decision to act on feelings of love when he held the fates of every person in his army in his hands. He should have been acting on logic and strategy, not emotion. That sounds harsh, but when you hold thousands of lives in your hands and it’s your duty to lead and protect them best as you can, you can’t risk those lives because you fell in love along the way. Walder Frey is evil and what he did is horrific but it’s the result of Rob’s own poor choices unfortunately.

Richer for it and braver for letting yourself live and experience them. Thank God fictionally. I’m not sure how many of your subscribers have already seen the series like I have so my opinions come from having a basic remembrance of how these things went but I can’t remember sam in detail. So watching them with your eyes is enjoyment. I did not know I would have thank you for being yourself. You’re honest heart meant everything. When I watched these originally HBO had a discussion about each episode afterwards from the writers and some of the actors I’m not sure if you’re able to see that if not, I highly recommend you find those they will help you understand and the story will get much richer hearing it from them. I don't think there's any spoilers in it but correct me if I'm wrong. Somebody did a remake of it already, but I like this version best by far. There are others as well, but I like the Game of Thrones video best. Bran gets hurt jumping from an old Tv. lol

Is he? Would Ned have betrayed an oath to marry a Frey for passage? I don't think he would've. Catelyn was originally betrothed to Ned's brother Brandon, who was killed by the Mad King. She truly loved Brandon. Ned married her out of duty....not love. They grew to love each other over time. Maester Aemond told Jon in Season 1 Episode 9, "Love is the death of duty." Apparently, that is absolutely true. Poor Rob let his heart overrule his head. Such a shame. More tragedy to come along the way....but also great victories. Love ya girl! Hang in there!

Almost quit watching after this one but so glad I didn't. After ruminating over it a few days I came to really respect the writing because this was the reality in our own similar Middle Ages. Making oaths and breaking oaths had real consequences, and "happily ever after" was rarely experienced. So I really appreciate that the story is a cut above the common tropes we typically see. Many triumphs and tragedies to come😉
