Very unique reaction lol. 1 more episode and I'm all caught up. You have no idea what's in store. As if it couldn't get any better.

2024-12-06 02:57:20 +0000 UTCJack Gleeson (born 20 May 1992) is an Irish actor who is best known for his role as Joffrey Baratheon on the HBO television series Game of Thrones (2011–2014). He would not return to acting until 2021. The reason he stated was to indulge in academic study. I believe though that story arc of Joffrey being so intensely dark and disturbing people who watched the show may have, for a time, unintentionally confused the role he played and the actor himself. I can not imagine playing such a role at any age, but to be so young and play such a hated character in a series as big as GOT. It boggles my mind that such an experience would be anything less than traumatic. He played the part so well. I hope he has much success in whatever future he lives, on and off the screen.

2024-11-30 09:22:47 +0000 UTCAfter the Red Wedding, I was going to say keep watching becuase good times are ahead but was afraid it would be too much of a spoiler. I find that with GOT when you hit traumatizing episode, it's best to immediately watch the next one if you can. This episode has SO much. I love seeing Lady Olena talk with Tywin - probably the only one who is on his level. He is horrible, but I have respect for his character, played masterfully by Charles Dance. When you mentioned you didn't think there had ever been such an awful character at Jeoffrey, the young man who played Jeoffrey based his character style after Joaquin Pheonix as villain Commodus in Gladiator and it shows through in this episode. He, in part, had to stop acting for a while after this show because he got so much hate. Also, you trying to hide your smile behind your blanket made me giggle! I was like "YAAASSSS" when I first watched it.
