Amber, you recently asked about which of the Stark children's wolves are still with us. When Arya's wolf bit Joffrey, she sent her away so they wouldn't kill her, but when they couldn't find Arya's wolf, Nymeria, Cersei had them kill Sansa's wolf, Lady. So both of the Stark daughters have lost their wolves. Robb's wolf was killed at the Red Wedding. Bran and Rickon have their wolves Summer and Shaggydog. Jon Show also has his wolf, Ghost. Two have been killed and Arya's is supposedly roaming wild and free

2025-01-04 01:28:04 +0000 UTCHi Amber, I just recently became a patron and started watching GOT with you. I did want to let you know that there are times when I can see that you are commenting on something, but I can't hear you over the audio of the episode. I'm not sure if your microphone stays in the same place or if you move away from it when you sit back. There have been other comments about Ser Jorah's betrayal being known, but I understand you didn't know his name. Let me give you a couple of names, so hopefully you are not surprised when more of the story plays out. The Lord Commander of the Nights Watch who gave Jon Snow his sword and was killed by the mutineers was named Jeor Mormont and he told Jon that he couldn't pass the sword on to his son. Dany's most trusted advisor who betrayed her is named Ser Jorah Mormont. Like many others have said, I had the same reaction. I was so angry and devastated because we lost Oberyn and gonna lose Tyrion. Prince Oberyn had him flat on his back with a spear in him. I know he wanted revenge, but he'd just finish him off rather than get too close so that the mountain was able to reach him... ughhh!!! I know that Sansa covering for Littlefinger is frustrating, believe me, I know! But Sansa has learned a lot from her time in Kings Landing. She knows how to plat the game and her performance when she was telling the council about her Aunt Lysa's suicide was masterful with the tears and everything. She's not the naive girl who first came to Kings Landing in the second episode.

2025-01-04 00:49:25 +0000 UTCPrince Oberyn was the best character. What a waste. I didn't start watching again till season 6.

2024-12-25 17:29:05 +0000 UTCSuch a soul crushing death. First time I saw this I was yelling at the TV, "FINISH HIM!" like I was Scorpion or Johnny Cage on Mortal Kombat! My husband was rolling laughing. Dang....if he had just got down to it without all the showmanship it would have ended the Mountain gloriously...but it wouldn't be Oberyn would it? Another favorite gone. Such a shame. Take a deep breath and March on! Thanks for the reaction girl!❤️

2024-12-24 04:11:06 +0000 UTCSometimes you just need to take care of the task at hand. Concentrate on the actions, not the words. If you play with a snake long enough you might get bit! After watching this I needed to feel good again. I watched Jennifer Nettles sing O Holy Night / Hallelujah. That always makes me feel better. I hope you, Jay and your family have a great Christmas!

2024-12-21 16:42:17 +0000 UTCLike others have said there's a lot more shocking heartbreaking moments to come but also some heartfelt moments 😊

2024-12-21 05:09:56 +0000 UTCThat was a EPIC reaction!! Yes, we all loved Prince Oberyn so much. And the plot line with Jorah, must of us knew what was happening. You must have missed the couple of scenes early on. But that's okay! Jorah truly loves Dani and is loyal to her now -- as you will see.

2024-12-20 14:06:28 +0000 UTCDid not pick this up unti watched the last episode when Bronn was asked to fight. When he said that he could dance around and get the mountain off his feet. But one misstep and I'm dead. Bronn was spot on.

2024-12-19 16:06:58 +0000 UTCDamn. I felt your pain and shock. Take a breather girl. That was a hard episode for most of us. Just remember... there's always a delicate balance in the world. The scales need to be recalibrated now.

2024-12-19 16:00:10 +0000 UTC"You've been licking Tywin Lannisters boots so long it's a wonder your tongue is not black" 🤭Btw the guy who said that, Ser Royce, is the father of the bossy nights watch guy in the first 10 minutes of the first episode of season 1.

2024-12-19 15:20:56 +0000 UTCI started cringing for poor Amber from the start of this episode.

2024-12-19 14:38:27 +0000 UTCI find it ironic that Pedro Pascal later finds himself in a roll where his character (The Mandalorian) never takes off his helmet.

2024-12-19 13:59:49 +0000 UTCGame of Thrones has a way of making you love a character, then ripping them out the story just to leave you feeling heartbroken. That's what I love about this show: it doesn't matter if they're the main character or not, every character's story can suddenly come to an end.

2024-12-19 12:56:49 +0000 UTCPrince Oberyn's overconfidence and the passion for vengeance got him killed. I remember when watching this the first time, full of hate for the Mountain, yelling at the TV for Oberyn to "Just kill him already!". Was soul destroying when he didn't and we subsequently lost another great character instead.

2024-12-19 10:38:47 +0000 UTCI reacted the same when I saw this. It was one of the most graphic death scenes I've seen. But also, there's a reason he was called The Red Viper of Dorne, as you'll find out. Maybe you'll take some solace that Pedro Pascal said it was blazing hot outside when they were filming this. Everyone was dying of the heat. As they were getting the last shots, he had all the blood and gore all over his face, which was cool and refreshing. So, he had it better than most.
Jon
2024-12-19 07:41:00 +0000 UTCI’m not a squirmy person, and can handle blood and gore pretty well…but this skull scene ALWAYS makes me look away. Watching it once was enough lol. Pedro Pascal was great as Prince Oberyn!

2024-12-19 07:18:49 +0000 UTCIt’s not just a show… it’s something else. Human nature? Unfairness? Comedy? Victory? Deceit? Heroism? All of the above. Probably more. Humanity. You’re watching some of the best shows ever right now. Whenever it is time for a new show, if you want to see more of Pedro Pascal (Prince Oberyn), Narcos on Netflix and The Last of Us on HBO are both phenomenal and he is a/the main character in both. And as you are feeling down, maybe some comic relief as Pedro Pascal playing a stereotype Hispanic mother on SNL: https://youtu.be/HkmlfHi9Ll4?si=c8VoB1tBaBOIEGMh Hope you enjoy 😂

2024-12-19 06:41:14 +0000 UTCIt is just a show, the best show. And we all were so emotionally invested as well. That's one of the most brutal deaths in TV show history. Your reaction was priceless and I guarantee it's ending up on one of those YouTube compilations.

2024-12-19 06:29:01 +0000 UTCJorah was a spy for Robert Baratheon. All that info Robert had on Danaerys in season 1 came from Jorah. Jorah was exiled from Westeros for selling slaves, and spying on Viserys and Danaerys was his only way out. If you go back to the episode where he finds out Dany is pregnant, note that he leaves to go “check on something.” But by the time he had the poison wine merchant killed, he had converted to be completely loyal to Dany. This after seeing her emerge from the flames with the dragons. So from the end of S1 onwards Jorah was fully loyal. But he was a spy, and in that scene at the end once Ser Barristan delivers the letter, both Jorah and Dany are right. That’s what makes it so heartbreaking. Can Dany trust Jorah after learning that for pretty much all of season 1 he was spying on her? No. Is Jorah NOW 100% loyal? Yes. He says so and his actions in s2, 3, 4 show this. But if you are Dany what do you do? Excellent writing. Anyone who read the books knew this, and the show gave us snippets here and there. But for the non book reader, unless you rewatch every episode 100 times, this comes as a total shock, and Dany plays this out perfectly in her reaction to the news and Jorah’s admission of guilt. And this also in perfect contrast to the relationship between The Hound and Arya. They started off as enemies, she was his prisoner. By the end of this episode, they’re laughing their asses off when they find out Lysa Arryn is dead. Kind of a similar hate to love relationship but totally different result.

2024-12-19 06:19:28 +0000 UTCOkay. So that's how Ser Jorah met Danny. Varys recruited him as a spy over there to report to him what Viserys was doing. Then things went how they went. But when Viseys was killed he became 100% devoted to her. He stopped the assassination attempt himself. That said he did what he did so she has every right to react this way. Bad situation, Tywin is a genius.

2024-12-19 06:17:49 +0000 UTCOh my sweet, I knew this was going to be so upsetting for you. Believe me, all of us who have seen this before totally understand! This episode was a rough one. Sir Jorah, Prince Obyron, Gilly & Little Sam, Sansa & Littlefinger but at least we got to hear Arya's laugh! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

2024-12-19 05:55:42 +0000 UTCI still can’t watch the skull crushing, I had read the books, knew it was coming. Watched this like 1000 times but still haven’t actually seen it, I always close my eyes 😃

2024-12-19 05:27:51 +0000 UTCAbout Jorah's betrayal, you're not the only reactor who hadn't caught that. Likely you were still learning names in the first season, so you didn't catch it then, but it was never meant to be a secret from a viewer's perspective. He dipped out from traveling with the Dothraki immediately when he found out that Daenerys was pregnant, promising to catch up later, and right after that was the scene where Robert and Ned had their breakup over whether to kill her. In that scene, Varys reveals to Ned that Ser Jorah Mormont sent word and has been spying on the Targaryen children for them, which Ned disapproves of because of his contempt for Jorah (it's Ned's death sentence on him that Jorah needs the pardon for in the first place). Then in the episode where Jorah foils the assassination attempt by the wine merchant, right before that happened he received the same pardon message that Ssr Barristan got this episode from another child in the Vaes Dothrak market. That was essentially his turning point - in that moment, he decided to stay with Dany and save her life instead of returning to Westeros with his pardon.

2024-12-19 04:25:16 +0000 UTCLove the reactions! Yes it hurts, it makes you angry, question yourself and everyone else too! It’s just awesome writing.

2024-12-19 03:05:13 +0000 UTCWell, we arent getting a new episode for a while as Amber recovers guys, lol. Here's another moment we waited for, and this one was almost, maybe even worse than the Red Wedding in some aspects. They really bait and switched us there.
