He was on “Ally McBeal” the tv series and did a great job, but was fired. He did a series of bad movies and box-office flops, but kept working. He always was a good actor. And, the “Iron Man” movies rejuvenated his career. Since then, he has become one of the most successful actors in Hollywood. A true lesson in persistence. Like the Phoenix that rose from the ashes, Downey rose from the ash heaps of darkness to emerge better than ever.
