Thor: The Dark World (2013) Full Length

Comments

New subscriber! Glad to be a part of the family!

Just Dave

You keep missing out on post credit scenes!! There's usually more than just one! You thought Loki was dead because you missed the VERY quick scene starting at 1:24:36, when you took a drink from your cup. A few seconds before you said "that's an Asgardian", you missed something. There was a brief flash of green light coming from that Asgardian, giving away the fact that he was actually Loki. Not only did he trick Thor, but he also tricked the audience.

Dodger Blue 311

Speaking of subtitles, how come we never get any?

Dodger Blue 311

Try watching at a lower resolution.

superswingman24

One, she's going to be hearing about the stones again VERY shortly in guardians of the galaxy, which she's probably watched already by this time And two, after taking time to analyze that scene, she can do the math about the 5 things left to collect What she's seen is what I wrote so calm down

Karl Kraus

Guys, no spoilers in the comments. If it is not directly shown or mentioned in the media we have already watched, including revealing things Amber does not yet understand, DO NOT talk about it in the comments please. We want genuine reactions here. That's part of the enjoyment. Carry on enjoying :)

Chris

Please dont reveal stuff like that. Its a spoiler. Let her figure things out on her own. No telling her ANYTHING that isnt already shown.

Chris

Various cultures, including some Germanic tribes and pre-colonial Philippines, have used boats in burial traditions. Ancient Egyptians featured funerary boats in rituals, symbolizing an afterlife journey on the Nile, with archaeological evidence showing ships like the 144-foot Khufu boat buried near the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Amber, let me personally send my sympathies regarding the now infamous MCU trigger words that have entered your brain; cut scene. It may take awhile before your eye (or mine, tbh) stops twitching, you're in my thoughts. πŸ€ͺπŸ’œ

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Frigga is the Queen of Asgard, wife of Odin, and mother of Thor, as well as the stepmother of Loki. Her character is inspired by the Norse goddess Frigg, associated with marriage, motherhood, and prophecy. Often called the "All-Mother," she expresses her love through her relationships and has the ability to see the future. The name "Frigg" means "to love," and Friday is named in her honor. Frigga's funeral scene draws inspiration from Viking ship burials, a traditional practice among Norse and Germanic tribes during the Viking Age in Northern Europe. This involved the deceased being placed in a ship with grave goods, sometimes including animals or slaves, before being burned or buried. This practice was typically reserved for high-ranking individuals. Rarely was the burial ship set on fire and sent out to sea. In Norse mythology, ships symbolize the journey to the afterlife, transporting the deceased to Valhalla, where warriors feast and train, or to Folkvangr, a meadow ruled by Freyja, who welcomes the other half of the fallen warriors and chieftains.

This was a great one. Yes, Loki is very complex and hard to figure out. And poor professor Z πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ His brain is friedsvillle lol. Yes, you have a problem, but it's a good one lol. I love a binge girl lol. Also remember many of these movies have multiple cut scenes so make sure u skip through the whole credits. Thanks Amber.

Drewcliff82

When watching your Patreon videos, they continuously buffering between 6 and 11 minutes. In order to watch these videos I need to refresh my browser when the video freezes. This makes something I'm really looking forward to watching not so fun. Does anyone have an idea on how I can fix this? I looked up some possible fixes. One is to download the video or a direct link to the video. Which I think these videos are saved on Patreon not youtube, so I don't think a link will work. After reading Reddit I know I'm not the only one suffering here. How does everyone else watch Amber's Videos?

Powers209

I love the fact that you are binge watching. I love these movies. The mid credits and end credits are not to confuse you. They are setting you up on future MCU movies. You were confused by the mention of the infinity stones. Well now everything will to a meaning. The infinity stones are very important going forward. Pay attention and you’ll understand. Yes it sucked waiting for these movies to come out. It was like 2 movies a year and you got a ways to go. It gets better and better as you can see

Ron Shimon

I missed some of the earlier movies credit scenes too for one reason or another. Watching them at a later time, they lose some of their impact. What a treat it was though later, waiting through the credits for if and when the screen would turn black and the reward was those extra scenes.

Gary

Really gotta hang in there and make sure you check for every post credit scene. There are very often more than one. A mid credit scene and an end credit scene.

Jim

And Tom Hiddleston played him so well.

Marty B

Burial by boat fire was a viking tradition. not sure what other cultures used it. And I can't lie. I love a bad boy with a sarcastic mouth and developed a massive crush on Loki.

Marty B

Mid-credit or post-credit scenes don’t necessarily pertain to the next movie. It might be clues or info. about any upcoming MCU movie further down the line.

Susan Holly

Also we have now introduced β€œInfinity Stones”. This is an important element of the story so remember that post credits scene!

MadeByMali

Imo Loki is one of, and possibly THE, best written characters in the mcu. Just the fact that you’re constantly pulled from genuinely hating him to genuinely feeling pity for him to genuinely rooting for him to genuinely distrusting him. He’s a very conflicting character but through it all there’s an actual character arc unfolding. No idea which direction it’s going but we get little pieces to his story and his true feelings, from him finding out his parentage to his losses and his victories. He’s an excellent character.

MadeByMali

Amber @ 1:43:12 = "I have a problem."πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜†πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜†πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ₯°πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜† Binge watching the MCU...yeah...I pleasantly agree but we're all benefiting from your "binge" viewingπŸ–₯ problem...LMAO...πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜† Great reaction and I appreciate your attempt to watch in release order so I'm really looking forward to and SUPER EXCITED ALWAYS to see the next one arguably considered the best film in the MCU. And yes Norse mythology is tied to Thor and his surrounding characters in Thor's universe, where more character names will appear from in later movies in relation to Thor. πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

K Dub

Now you have mid credit scenes sometimes and also end credit scenes. This movie has another scene at the very end that is worth watching and very satisfying following the end of the last Thor movie. Check it out! You wont be disappointed ;)

pk808

And PLEASE remember to stay tuned in the end credits to see ALL of the scenes featured There may be important clues to future movies in BOTH instead of just one

Karl Kraus

captain america 2 is next but guardians is after

Karl Kraus

Without saying too much, infinity stones will be what this overall narrative is about You heard the Collector say "1 down 5 to go" so, the Tesseract (already back on Asgard) and Aether are now revealed to be 2 of the stones You'll see the rest pop up in due time

Karl Kraus

Guardians of the Galaxy is next?

David Berrios

I'm glad I watched this again. I forgot the ending with Loki. Wow. Infinity stones will keep popping up. :)

David Berrios

To your question : yes Frigga was a witch and though many asgardians have magic(thors thunder and weather abilities or Heimdals special eyes for instance) she is considered among the most powerful and taught Loki from a very young age. I think the worst thing about Loki learning he was Jotun was knowing the person he loved most was not his real mom.

Melody Netherton

This was an amazingly fun double feature. Incredible job. πŸ₯Έ

Jeremy Vickers

be prepared to enter the Thor comedy 'verse' with Ragnorok. It was fun... not really much depth too it. A bit like Guardians of the Galaxy style to me.

Scott

Such a fun movie. So underrated! Can’t wait for Thor Ragnarok. I love the way you get so mad with characters in your reactions, it’s really fun to watch, lol.

Jenny Anckorn

IMO this movie gets too much hate. I like it. The MCU went super comedic and slapstick after this film to appeal to a wider audience. Sadly. I miss the more serious yet fantastical films.

Tim

Don’t forget there are mid credit scenes and after credits in marvel

shutterbot

The next two films are arguably two of the est movies in the entire franchise. Buckle up for incredible film making

Theo Harris

Guardians of the Galaxy is coming!! Iron Man is great, Captain America is great, but honestly Guardians is THE BEST of the origin films.

James Melton

WHOOOOOOO and another one. Complete 360 vibe change for me from 1 minute ago lol.

Drewcliff82

The Viking started burning their dead on the water

shutterbot

Did she miss another end credits β€œagain”?? lol. This one wasn’t as important but do NOT miss the next captain america β€œend” credits. That film has 2. One mid and one post.

Shark23

πŸ–₯πŸ‘€πŸ˜―πŸΏπŸ˜πŸ₯°πŸ₯³πŸŽŠπŸ‘πŸΎ rushing home to watch this one!!! So excited for your journey!!! And I LOVE the fact the content is getting out here so quickly!!!πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ₯°πŸ’˜πŸ’πŸ’–πŸ’•πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘Œ

K Dub

What you missed was when the asgardian told Odin that they found a body, he glowed. You were taking a drink and missed it.

Shark23

Oh yeah you’ve been bitten! Haha! Still loving this ride.

Jeremy Vickers

Oh girl you're killing me tonight, but I'm with you. I'll watch all you give us! ❀️❀️❀️❀️

Debi Bailey

First, lol
