2025-01-23 14:25:24 +0000 UTCThis movie is so very funny. I grew up with with parents who were NASCAR fans, and before my dad passed he requested that I take my mom to a NASCAR race. We did for 5 years before she passed. NASCAR culture is funny. :D And what Ricky says about the origins of NASCAR is true. They originate from the bootleggers. My grandmother told me once that she remembered the bootleggers coming to her home to fill up the secret stills when she was a kid. My great-grandfather refused to give up his Scotch.

Both are great and yet they’re unique in their own way and while I prefer one over the other, I need them both in my life. Incidentally, I prefer Beatles over Stones and “Godfather” over “Goodfellas”.

The Beatles help the Rolling Stones with their first big song in the United States. George Harrison got them there first record deal.
