I know you’re already watched number three, which is the hardest one for me to watch because it is such a tear jerker

2025-10-12 05:44:40 +0000 UTCZune was the best and the world was robbed of the best mp3 player, it was a better iPod before the iPod... Anyways... this series is great!

2025-02-17 18:14:26 +0000 UTCOne more Guardians of the Galaxy you need to watch is the Holiday Special, available on Disney Plus.

2025-02-01 00:01:55 +0000 UTCLove the pace you are on but after phase 3 you should slow down. Everything in phase 4 and beyond isn't required viewing. I recommend after phase 3 to start doing polls. It would be better for you (and us) if you just cherry picked the good stuff and skipped the bad content.

2025-01-30 22:47:50 +0000 UTCGood sci-fi? I recommend Ex Machina

2025-01-30 08:58:24 +0000 UTCWe'll get to that stuff in due time. Let's finish Phase 3, and then we can guide her through Phase 4, which is a mix of tv shows and movies in a specific order.

2025-01-30 08:45:41 +0000 UTCYou were literally ALL of us during the last 15 minutes of the movie. Sobbing, crying, emotional, but also laughing. This movie had lots of heart and pulled on your heart strings. I really enjoyed watching your reaction to this movie, especially the really emotional parts. Up next: Spider-Man: Homecoming Thor: Ragnarok Black Panther Avengers: Infinity War

2025-01-30 08:24:07 +0000 UTCBTW, those weird beings Stan Lee was talking to were Watchers, aliens whose main task is to literally watch and narrate events in the Marvel universe. One theory as to why Stan Lee appears as so many characters in the MCU is that he is actually playing the same character, a Watcher, who uses different disguises as events unfold on the MCU Earth.
Thaddeus Winterson
2025-01-30 07:45:36 +0000 UTCThere was another post-credits scene, and it waaasss a cutesy little Stan Lee thing.

2025-01-30 02:28:05 +0000 UTCOh you poor thing. Don't know Knight Rider or Cheers? Knight rider had a talking car named Kitt and cheers is where everybody knows you name.

2025-01-30 01:59:01 +0000 UTCMichael Rooker is a great actor. You think his character here is bad you should see him in The Walking Dead. Downright despicable and played it so well.
Marty B
2025-01-30 01:53:45 +0000 UTCThis will not be the last MCU movie to pack an emotional punch. I cannot be more specific. Just be forewarned. Sometimes things get heavy.
Matt Teague
2025-01-30 00:45:00 +0000 UTCI've never seen any of these movies except AntMan and I remember seeing some of I guess was AntMan 2 , and some of the 1st Captain America movie, so I have really enjoyed watching all of these. It's nice to see something you haven't watched before. But I think this is my favorite of all of them so far!! Great movie, great cast too!! I saw Stallone come walking up, I thought we were going to get Tango & Cash back together again lol!!
Jayce
2025-01-29 22:02:37 +0000 UTCReally puts you through the emotional mangler this one Amber, doesn't it. You're in the sweet spot of the MCU just now, enjoy.
Gary
2025-01-29 21:03:46 +0000 UTCThe Kurt Russel movie you were thinking of I think you were referring to Tombstone.
ty110072
2025-01-29 17:22:26 +0000 UTCThe group that had Sylvester Stallone leading it is actually the original guardians of the galaxy from the comics.

2025-01-29 16:20:53 +0000 UTCI've seen this a bunch but re-watching it with you I also bawled my eyes out😭

2025-01-29 14:43:09 +0000 UTCLoved the classic Kurt Russell ..."son of a B" reference he says in every one of his films 😂

2025-01-29 14:40:55 +0000 UTCI have to say I love watching movies with you. I laugh, I cry and I smile with you. David Hasselhoff was in a show called Knight Rider. Basically, he was a special agent with Kit, the talking car, which assisted him in his missions. Was one of my favorite show as a kid. Karenn Gillan (Nebula) was also in an English show called Doctor Who before Jumanji. That show is all about Time and Space. It's been around since 1963. But got relaunched in 2005 with the Nineth version of the Doctor (Christopher Eccleston). Who also played the leader of the Dark Elves in Thor Dark World. Also you need to check out Across the Universe if you love the Beatles. I movie propelled by the music of the Beatles.
Robert Lopez
2025-01-29 10:48:00 +0000 UTCThe team at the end with Sylvester Stallone, Ving Rhames, etc. was some of the original Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics. That team was Stakar, aka Starhawk (Stallone); Martinex (the crystal guy), Charlie 27 (Rhames); Aleta Ogord (Starhawk's sister/wife/frenemy played by Michelle Yeoh) and Mainframe (voiced by Miley Cyrus). An interesting side note, in the comics, Ayesha (the ruler of the golden Sovereign) was Starhawk's mother, making "Adam" (to be revealed) Starhawk's brother. The movies are their own thing, but it's fun to see how much of the comic lore the director packs in. Most importantly for GotG 2, Yondu was a founding member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics, so presumably in the movie he was also a founding member of the crew Starhawk now runs, making it more understandable why Yondu's actions broke all their hearts. Starhawk and Yondu were once best friends. One more note, the "prototype fin" that Yondu gets brings him much closer to his comic book appearance as one of the last Centaurians.

2025-01-29 08:48:19 +0000 UTCNebula is played by Karen Gillan she is also the actress from the Jumanji movies she plays Ruby

2025-01-29 04:09:03 +0000 UTCWhen I saw GotG 2 in the theater s I didn't live it. But after watching over the years it's really grown on me with depth of the storylines.
Charles Allen
2025-01-29 04:01:50 +0000 UTCThe actress that plays nebula, Gomorrah sister is Karen Gillan. I was first introduced to her when she was a companion Of Doctor Who a show I wish you would check out. She’s also in the new Jumanji movies with The Rock and Jack Black and Kevin Hart.
Thomas Horton
2025-01-29 03:30:59 +0000 UTCMichael Rooker who plays Yandu is one of the nicest people I've met at Comicon. I've talked with him a number of times. Really funny guy.
Charles Allen
2025-01-29 02:56:51 +0000 UTCThe actress that plays Nebula is Karen Gillan, better known for her role in the newer Jumanji movies, as well as her role as Amy Pond in the long-running Sci Fi show, Doctor Who. Another fantastic show to watch, IMO.
Jason Walters
2025-01-29 02:24:55 +0000 UTCYondu had an incredible character arc, one that was both surprising and deeply emotional. Michael Rooker is usually cast as the villain, but he is capable of playing the good guy as well.
Jake Sisk
2025-01-29 01:59:27 +0000 UTCPlus Pom Klementieff is so adorable and pretty much playing herself. Perfect casting!

2025-01-29 00:49:35 +0000 UTCAgreed! The change allowed Mantis to effortlessly blend into the Guardians' comedic and often dysfunctional dynamic, adding a unique layer to their interactions.

2025-01-29 00:38:03 +0000 UTCOne of my favorites, but there are some more great ones to come!

2025-01-29 00:36:57 +0000 UTCOh, they also had a Christmas Guardians movie that was released on Disney Plus, which was awesome. If you were going to do Marvel, you really should look at the Disney+ stuff too. There is a Wanda show. There’s a Hawkeye show on there. As well as a spinoff of Wanda.
Just Dave
2025-01-29 00:29:06 +0000 UTCWhen Yandu descends down next to Quill and shouts, “I’m Mary Poppins, y’all!”—for me, that was the best scene of the movie. It was hilarious, heartwarming, and surprisingly emotional all at once.
Jake Sisk
2025-01-29 00:22:43 +0000 UTCreally have to stick it out for those mid/end credits scenes. this movie gets me every time. see you for Spider-Man

2025-01-29 00:18:40 +0000 UTCthe news of Ego actually being responisble for Quill's mother's cancer was the biggest gut punch in the MCU... and we just learned about Stark's parents were murdered by Bucky What could possibly top that?

2025-01-29 00:12:37 +0000 UTCThe show with David Hasslhoff was called Knight Rider. “Cheers” was a sitcom that came on NBC.
Jason Johnson
2025-01-29 00:07:46 +0000 UTCMore than any other MCU movies, the Guardians of the Galaxy series tells the Laws of Physics to go sit in a corner and play with their crayons, because the Rule of Cool trumps Physics. But hey, despite that, they're Super Fun movies to watch.
Matt Teague
2025-01-28 23:54:56 +0000 UTCI was surprised by Stan Lee's cameo! They did a really good job with The Watchers! The Watchers are one of the oldest and most powerful races in the Marvel universe, existing solely to observe the events of the Multiverse without ever intervening
Jake Sisk
2025-01-28 23:50:50 +0000 UTCafter you get to the right time in the release order I hope you also watch the shows

2025-01-28 23:21:17 +0000 UTCEgo is not the first Celestial you've met. The Collector is also one. Mantis is one of my favorite characters and one of the few times the completly changed a character from the comics for the better in my opinion. In the comics she's a very tough ex prostitute but I think they changed her to being a more innocent being because Gamora and Nebula are so tough it's nice to see a very diffent type of female character with them. Also watching you literally facepalm with laughter made my week instantly better! Thanks for bringing us on your journey!
