Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) Full Length

Comments

They were from the 2000 Super Bowl if I remember correctly.

Dodger Blue 311

Yeah, the audio has been an issue since Iron Man 1. I've only been watching her MCU reactions, so I have no idea if the audio issue is on all of her reactions. And it sucks that she hasn't really addressed the issue.

Dodger Blue 311

I forgot about that! He was badass in that!

Melody Netherton

Marvel science has never been very scientific. You should think of it as *superhero magic* instead.

James Melton

Some compression and maybe ducking the movie volume would do it I think.

James Melton

My favorite Banderas film is "The 13th Warrior"

James Melton

The firs time I encountered Baba Yaga's house was as an art installation at Burning Man. You can look up images. You've seen Laurence Fisburne before; he was Morpheus in The Matrix.

Mark Adolph

Watched reaction on YT because I couldn't find the chance to sit down to "watch a long" and I've always loved the Ant Man Universe as a SF Bay Area native.😉 Especially this one as a movie geek🤓 loving the "nod" to one of THE...CLASSIC B&W sci fi films entitled..."Them" the story of giant ants that they were watching on the miniature "Drive in theatre" laptop💻🥰👍🏾👏🏾 Thank you Amber!!!✌🏾

K Dub

🍺👍🏾Excellent knowledge having been born and raised in Oakland.👍🏾👏🏾🥰😎✌🏾

K Dub

Omg Antonio Banderas is the GOAT…. Watch mask of zorro and Desperado

Brittiney Johnson

Yes, yes, yes! LOST is the best show I've ever watched. I hope she watches it.

Dodger Blue 311

It also doesn’t help that she sometimes sits back and talks real soft barely opening her mouth. And then other times, when she has a big reaction, she leans forward and screams into the mic. I feel for those wearing headphones in those moments 👂👂💀

Dominique Cloet

Ok, not just me then. Either the movie drowns out her voice or her voice is too loud for the movie dialogue. Either way, she may need some help with audio editing like you said.

The Mad Icelander

The Marvels is the most fun I’ve had with anything MCU in a long time. These days, it easily ranks among my favs. 👍🏼

William

Good Morning Amber, First, I just wanted to say I've enjoyed watching all your reaction video's on all your various YouTube channels and now here on Patreon. Second, in regards to your questions and probable (yet understandable) confusion about the watch order for the Marvel MCU movies (and maybe TV shows) going forward after Captain Marvel and EndGame: Please find a minute to check out this site: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Xfe--9Wshbb3ru0JplA2PnEwN7mVawazKmhWJjr_wKs/edit?gid=279844300#gid=279844300 As far as I can tell it literally lists EVERYTHING ever released that is MCU related (even titles from before the MCU existed). If you do check it out you will see the Welcome tab states "If you were to watch all of the MCU without taking a break it would currently take you 21 days, 17 hours 34 minutes. Along the bottom you will find tabs for "Chronological Order", "Release Order" as you have been sticking to, "Upcoming" and "TV Status". Just to get you orientated you can skip down to row 421 to find Captain Marvel and then row 429 for Avengers: Endgame. In closing, a suggestion. When your current titles have reached the end of their runs and it comes time to select a new show to react to I would like to request that you give strong consideration to the ABC TV show "LOST". I feel you would be hooked into the various mysteries and other elements of this show from the very start. Definitely, you will be drawn in by the end of the very first episode. No spoilers, but it ends with the intriguing line which I will paraphrase as "Guys, Where the **** are we...?" and then you will be ready to go on to the next episode right away, again and again. Looking forward everyday to your next post, Tony F.

Tony F.

Thank you! I kept thinking they were water bears, cause that’s the best name ever, and then they said the scientific name and I was worried I had been calling those things the wrong name for years.

Crystal Laherrere

Lombard Street.

Thaddeus Winterson

I had the opposite issuse. I couldn't hear the quiet parts of the movie without blasting it but then the voice audio is too loud.

Drewcliff82

And 1 more thing, masterful mid credit scene bc of how it gives a such a good reference to the timelines.

Drewcliff82

If u see the comments I posted, I changed my mind some lol.

Drewcliff82

Not just you. There should be some audio editing happening, but I don’t think there is.

Dominique Cloet

Yea I'm not as familiar past End Game but someone said she needs to watch some of the series before the Multi-Verse saga.

Drewcliff82

Ok, my rankings to this point. 1. Infinity Wars 2. GOTG2 3. Doctor Strange 4. Thor Ragnarok 5. Winter Soldier 6. GOTG 7. Captain America: The First Avenger 8. Ultron 9. The Avengers 10. Black Panther 11. Civil War 12. Iron Man 3 13. Ant Man 14. Thor 15. Thor Dark World 16. Iron Man 17. Ant- Man and the Wasp 18. Hulk 19. Iron Man 2 20. Spider-Man Homecomeing As I said, I moved Ant-Man and the Wasp up a few places bc the comedy killed me. Also know, I enjoy all of these. For me with Marvel, GOT, SW and BB, the worst of each is like being the worst diamond in a bag of diamonds. These are just my faves.

Drewcliff82

Okay I changed my mind on this one a bit. I forgot how much it made me laugh. But the main complaint I have is that there in no villain in this lol. Protag and antag yes, but no villain. Hank is also pretty annoying lol. Paul is what makes this movie. Him and the boys. I did move it up my list a few spots and I'm about to post my rankings. The part at the school I was laughing so hard I think the people downstairs thought something crazy was happening lol. Imagine being stuck at "Doll size" 😂🤣😅🤣😂😂🤣🤣😅. I couldn't breath for that whole 20 minutes. Thank u Amber, especially for saying, "That's an odd size to be" 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂 That's what set it off for me.

Drewcliff82

Not sure you know Michelle Pfieffer, legendary actress, but that's who plays the mom. Btw, Is it just me or is it really hard to hear what Amber is saying when there's loud action going on?

The Mad Icelander

The ant-man movies are set in San Francisco The "scenic route" Hope was talking about is the city's famous winding hill, which i forget the name of

Karl Kraus

You gonna love the music on the next one

Pako Sandoval

I'm not sure if it's been discussed, but some of the TV series are must-watch (as in they further story lines and are really good).

Stephen Ray

You said your son found the animated show What if...? That's the show making Peggy Carter the super soldier instead of Steve Rogers Ok, that's off the checklist

Karl Kraus

She allready saw the first 3 X-Men and Deadpool 1 on her previous channel

Dominique Cloet

But will we see any X men or atleast wolverines films or Deadpool’s prior to dead pool and Wolverine? It would take the specialness of Deadpool and Wolverine

Brandon Wheeler

Not to mention the Disney+ shows. Wandavision, Loki and Ms Marvel have the most crossover with the movies And then there’s the Netflix shows. Daredevil and the Punisher for sure, the others not so much

Dominique Cloet

3 movies to go and you’re done with phase 3 and the Infinity Saga. Might I suggest waiting to continue the rest of the MCU movies and checking out some other Marvel movies. X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Blade,… Watching those first will definitely pay off in the long run.

Dominique Cloet

I don't know if it's just me. But I can't wrap my head around how Luis and Scott were able to shrink inside the vehicles without Pym particles being somehow connected to them. I understand the cars shrinking but how would Luis be able to shrink inside it without a suit? Am I missing something? I always thought this was kind of a plot hole

T-Dott

Do you remember the beeper Nick Fury was holding in the post-credit of Infinity War. He paged Captain Marvel, that's her symbol that appears in the tiny screen. The next film introduces her and why he's held on to the pager all this time and also why it comes before Endgame.

T-Dott

Exactly lol. Our current society only thinks in terms of right and wrong. Black and white. No gray areas allowed. It is fine to have differing opinions and agree to disagree. I see lots of posts I don't like for one reason or another and I simply skip over them. I only complain about spoilers of any kind bit that's it.

Drewcliff82

Great introduction of Agent Jimmy Woo as a side character in the MCU. First appeared in comics in 1956, published by Atlas (Marvel's predecessor). Played by Randall Park he of "Asian Jim" fame from The Office, also known for playing Governor Danny Chung in Veep and Louis Huang from Fresh Off the Boat.

pawpaw72546

That's the real point. Each movie -- or taking it back to the source, each comic book, each character -- could be someone's favourite. Or least favourite. Which is just fine. Nothing can be everything to everyone.

pawpaw72546

Right? A real palate cleanser.

pawpaw72546

Ant-Man films just get better and better. It's the opposite direction from most sequels.

James Melton

Remember, "phasing" is what Vision (RIP) could so as well, when he passed through things or let things go through him. He just had conscious control over it. Ghost, as we see, does not.

pawpaw72546

The mid-credits scene makes us think "oh yeah... this happened"

Karl Kraus

As Hank Pym shrinks into the microscopic realm, he encounters tardigrades—tiny, eight-legged "water bears." Among Earth’s toughest creatures, they endure extreme heat, cold, radiation, and even the vacuum of space. They quite literally live everywhere!

Jake Sisk

The movie Ant-man is watching is called "invasion of the body snatchers" which is very appropriate to what he's going through. It featured an extreamly young Jeff Goldblum.(the grandmaster). I love how these movies have so many hidden gems. Antonio Banderas is an action star. You would probably recognize him from the Zorro films or the voice of Puss and boots from Shrek.

Melody Netherton

Amber, the “wassup” commercials were for Budweiser a while back. You can find some uploaded to YouTube.

Ian Forbes

Same. 😆

Richard C

Popcorn in Bed went down the Star Trek rabbit hole and she loved Next Gen. That was my favorite show too! Trekies and Trekers will catch the Easter eggs, but I think Galaxy Quest can still be enjoyed by the unitiated as long they know anything about Star Trek. So Amber, if you think that you might want to experience Star Trek anytime soon, hold off on viewing Galaxy Quest.

Doreen B

Amber talking about a happy ending before the mid-credits scene rolls 😬

Ben Martin

Are you sure you're absolutely ready for "EndGame"????!!!!! Remember the old proverb from Aesop's Fables, "Be Careful What You Wish For, You Just Might Get It"!!!!!

MAV293 (MARK)

Amber based on what you’re describing, I’d say your son was watching What If…?! The first episode—What If… Captain Carter Were the First Avenger?

Jake Sisk

Those creatures in the quantum realm were tardigrades.

Jean Michaelis

Thank you for your understanding bro!! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Josip Buretić

Yes. My aunt from Oakland took me there one time lol.

Drewcliff82

Yea I feel ya brother. She will finish Stranger Things soon and that may provide more time for more movies.

Drewcliff82

Yea when she drops that one I'll give u my take and compare these 2.

Drewcliff82

Happy Valentines day Amber! I hope you get some homemade Valentines from your kiddos! Thanks for the drop.

Melody Netherton

I really like this one and I love Ghost. Captain Marvel and the Marvels are my least favorite but to each thier own.

Melody Netherton

ohh! Second Evolution Alien, and Aliens. Maybe she should see some Star Trek movies before Galaxy Quest to really get the joke. I'd love to see her do Wrath of Khan personaly. I don't know one reactor that's ever watched the next generation series which is weird since it's so popular.

Melody Netherton

Ant-Man and the Wasp is like a good palate cleanser after Infinity War just wrecked us emotionally! I mean, sure, it’s not some massive, universe-shattering Avengers-level event, but that’s kinda the beauty of it! It leans into the fun, the humor, the crazy quantum shenanigans—it’s got heart, it’s got action. Sometimes you just need a solid, entertaining ride that leaves you grinning.

Jake Sisk

Sunny is played by Walton Goggins and he’s from Georgia. He played Boyd Crowder in Justified which is a must watch show.

Jacob Hughes

Happy Valentines Day, Amber💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️

Heather

Yes that , "crooked" street is real. It's Lombard St. in San Francisco and it's touted to be the "crookest street in the world". ❤️

Debi Bailey

Hey Amber, when you start reacting to music again, how about doing it live and maybe a whole album Like maybe Pink Floyd the Wall Or Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young déjà vu or perhaps somebody from Oklahoma City named J.J. Cale anything from his album ‘Naturally’ or the whole album

Thomas Horton

Can't wait to watch this tonight. Are we going to get a double drop with Captain Marvel as a valentines gift?

Charles Allen

I LOVE The Lake House! It has one of my faves from Paul McCartney which says a lot considering his body of work!!! City Of Angels. Oh man. That movie.

Rowan

Happy Valentine's Day Amber.

Rowan

When you watch Endgame, PLEASE include the first few minutes of credits in your reaction. Not talking about a post-credit scene, but the actual first few minutes of credits. Seriously so awesome.

Brian Shapiro

Absolutely can’t wait till you get through next film and then ENDGAME! Really dig seeing you experience this Saga unfold !

Fa7herObliv10n

Here are some ideas for when you want to view random movies: Passengers; The Lake House; City of Angels; Michael (John Travolta); The Bodyguard; Tin Cup; Evolution; Sommersby; Galaxy Quest; Raising Arizona; Alien and Aliens (there are others, but the first two Alien movies are the best). If you never saw Babe, you should watch that with your kids.

Doreen B

San Francisco, California

Thomas Horton

I hate it when people don’t know how to load the dishwasher

Thomas Horton

You only have Capt. marvel left, then you get to see the biggest selling box office movie of all time.......ENDGAME. Trust me, it's worth the wait.

DarrellWaller

Lawrence Fishburne, don’t you remember him from the matrix he played Morpheus

Thomas Horton

Not really "my" movies but it is all good I watch Office and hopefully I will catch here and there some movie that I like.

Josip Buretić

There really isn't a point to counter lol. Just 2 different personal opinions. I know I'm not alone in feeling this way either.

Drewcliff82

She has recently done several such as Pride and Prejudice, Step-Brothers amd Taladega Nights.

Drewcliff82

Have you reacted to the Partridge family?

Thomas Horton

Counterpoint: this is among my favs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

William

I hope you will also check some other movies and not only superheroes movies...but I am happy for everyone who is enjoying in your reaction.

Josip Buretić

Hoping for End Game over the weekend. Need as many Marvel movies as I can get! I’m snowed in. ❄️ Keep em coming Amber 😁

Richard C

This is a nice fun breather after such an intense loss for our heroes. :)

Gypsysoul.adventureawaits

Ok so this is definitely my least favorite to this point lol. It's sad bc i love Ant-Man and Paul Rudd but this one just didn't do it for me. It does have it's moments forsure but by this stage I'd become accustomed to greatness lol.

Drewcliff82

Ok amber The first of two detours before we watch endgame You can make it We're here for you
