2025-02-12 01:22:33 +0000 UTCEverything different was sure to be evil back then. Luckily I'm in a very small town so the mob was fairly small as well, but they were still there. I've been to some shows where it was overrun! We had alot of shows about 30 minutes away and they would be everywhere. I got saved when I was about 11 or so and I remember feeling so judged in my teen years with all of that mess. I spent a lot of time in church, whenever the doors were open I was there and so were they. Some of the same people who protested. When I graduated high school I painted a cross on my cap with the words "Only God can Judge Me" on it. They hated that....but it is a fact!

I was saved at 16 and I would go to shows and they'd be out there with their signs and shouting at my friends and I. We'd walk up to them, "Shush! We're Christians! Stop shouting at these people! God's the only one who judges, not you! Stop! You're acting like a fork tongued devil in the den of the sodomites and heathens! Stop it! Jesus said, "He who hath not sinned, cast the first stone!" We were teenagers defending the seculars. Back then it was like arguing with a constant Westboro Baptist Church. Ah...memories of our youth!

Then I was convinced I was right after this episode. I'm always questioning everything and I'm suspicious of everyone so I usually pick things up fast too. I actually surprised myself though....complex story line for sure.

2025-02-11 23:06:45 +0000 UTCShew girl....if you didn't immediately watch the next episode you're stronger than I am! I couldn't leave it with Steve being a snack! The 80s satanic panic is so real. I totally remember that! Of course they blame it on "the freak, psycho, weirdo"! I've always been very strange and an outsider like Eddie so I can relate. I will say that us freaks are some of the best people you'll meet...I'm always everyone's first call when they need anything. I always come through....it's who I am under the freaky exterior. I loathe Jason...he horrible. In his defense just a bit though....I'm not sure if most people would react differently in his situation. Of course he immediately thinks it's Satan...he knows zip about the reality of it. Suzie is a Mormon. They believe family is eternal and having children is imperative. Most have several children and won't use birth control, though it is allowed. This season is definitely the best so far.... but in fact the best is yet to come. The last 3 episodes are mind blowing! Can't wait for it! Thank you!

Just give episode number, even if it's... the last one. I envy you if you were able to go in blind. I pick up foreshadowing waaaaay too easily. I blew my hubby's mind when we first watched it. Just make sure to NOT say what gave it away.
