Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Full Length

Amber, I had the same reaction at the end credits. I was like "Wait! That can't be the end, they have to fix this before the end. it's frustrating that Iron Man and Spiderman had the gauntlet off of Thanos' arm, but Quill got upset hearing about Gamora which gave Thanos enough time to grab the gauntlet back. If Nebula and Mantis would've kept quiet about Gamora for 30 more seconds, they could've gotten the gauntlet completely off his arm and Dr Strange could've sent it somewhere using a portal. But, I understand they needed the drama and for the Avengers to feel a loss for once. I will say that I love Cap's longer hair and beard in this movie showing that they have been in hiding since Civil War.

2025-02-15 04:57:44 +0000 UTCYou are eluding to future events that haven't happened yet. Same as people saying "Pay attention to this bc it will come into play later" and stuff like that. Hinting at future events is spoilers. Saying things like "Everything after this is garbage". Rule of thumb, don't discuss anything sje hasn't watched yet in any other way than letting her know the next few movies. Literally pointless to do. Let her get as close to the same experience we did as possible. Or idk, maybe we're all wrong and your right. 🤷♂️ but please, only comment up to the point she is at.

2025-02-14 19:44:13 +0000 UTCI mean yea I suppose if she did it in between movies as a replacement that might work. I'm not as familiar with everything after End Game. I've seen some of them but not more than once. So I'll take your word for it lol.

2025-02-13 20:57:57 +0000 UTCYour so cute when your upset lol. Most of us who read comics knew about the Infinity War saga. But to your average non comic book reader this really shocked alot of people. How could the bad guy win? You do have 2 movies in between This movie and Avengers End Game. So they may distract from what just happened for a bit. Waiting a whole year to see what happened bit the big one. It was filled with theories and gave people something to talk about. Loved watching this you. Always a pleasure.

2025-02-13 12:56:36 +0000 UTCEveryone remembers where they were for "the snap." When the lights came up in that theater, you never saw so many sad and confused faces. Onee of the most memorable moments in cinema history for sure. BTW he mentions somewhere in the film that with all six infinity stones, he could accomplish his mission throughout the universe "with the snap of my fingers." That's why all our hearts dropped when he did that. For a few minutes we all kinda knew what he did, but it's like our minds didn't want to believe it. It was a huge shock. My kid and I were just in shock the rest of the day.

2025-02-13 09:46:46 +0000 UTCExactly. It is nice to have everyone on the same tier but yes, you can always give more when u can.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:44:15 +0000 UTCYes. I love Benicio. I really wish she would do Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with him and Johny Depp lol.

Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:39:35 +0000 UTCYes. They complained ruined Mr. L Boyd's Star Wars experience. He was a Star Trek guy and was watching them for the first time and some jackass told him to do the Machette order 🤦♂️. So he ended up watching episodes 4,5,2,3,6,1. So of course he hated episode 1 cause everything was way out of context. And it's hard to be exited when you've already watched episode 3. Always release order on everything. The only, and I mean only exception is the Clone Wars animated series lol. Those must be watched in chronological order, otherwise you'll be more confused than I was the first time I watched it lol.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:39:03 +0000 UTCShe doesn't have time rn. The only show she's doing that's about to end in the near future is Stranger Things and people have already thrown a lot of requests at her for what's after that, so I wouldn't get your hopes up but who knows lol. But I'm assuming she will finish all the movies then do the shows. That's what I've seen most reactors do.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:26:53 +0000 UTCHe should delete both of them lol. It's very easy to simply not talk about movies we haven't watched lol. My kids don't struggle with this 🤷.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:23:59 +0000 UTCSheesh u guys with the spoilers. Annoying af.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:22:28 +0000 UTCTMI. I think many of us would consider this a spoiler. Best rule of thumb is don't bring up much anything about movies we aren't to yet.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:21:50 +0000 UTCYes! The best.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:18:42 +0000 UTCVery important stuff in both the next 2 movies in terms of things to come. Especially since she plans on watching them all and possibly even some series.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:16:19 +0000 UTCYea she wasn't being literal but someone did comment a few movies ago that she "Should skip straight to end game" and that's what started all this.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:14:00 +0000 UTCBc someone like 2 or 3 movies ago commented for her to do that. I absolutely knew she would not do that tho lol.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:12:14 +0000 UTCDefinitely my favorite moment to this point and one of the best moments in super hero cinematic history.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 09:10:32 +0000 UTCYea I expected them to be in this the first time i watched it, not to find Thor but to be in it lol. I was more surprised that Ant-Man and Hawkeye weren't.

2025-02-13 09:03:16 +0000 UTCKeep it to yourself bub. Let her watch and make up her own mind. If you don't like it past end game, simply don't watch.

2025-02-13 09:01:15 +0000 UTCExactly. Hitler was someone who truly thought what he was doing was just and right while guys like Stalin were just evil and simply enjoyed killing on another level.

2025-02-13 09:00:37 +0000 UTCYup. But unfortunately we have the schedules we have lol. I got through 45 min before I had to sleep last night and finished the rest tonight.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 08:57:57 +0000 UTCYea I'm not gonna reveal which ones I like or dislike until after she watches them. I just don't wanna influence her. I love the movie but you know the thing I dislike about that I won't say but u what I mean. If not, I'll tell u when we get there lol. This one was such a blast with her.

Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 08:52:06 +0000 UTCLets be honest though, most people do this when watching movies at home. That's why I typically watch anything I watch more than once. We always miss little things. And it's a reaction video. If she doesn't talk during and give her thoughts then it's not a reaction and goes into copyright bs, especially on YT. I get it tho lol. That's why I watch movies alone or maybe with 1 person so it's quiet and I can focus lol.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 08:47:24 +0000 UTCFirst Hodor, Now this... 🤦♂️ Rough stretch here huh lol.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 08:41:41 +0000 UTCBut yea, finger snap and half the people in the universe gone in a second. Now Thanos doesn't have to keep going planet to planet doing it manually so he can rest easy now. That's things from his perspective. He's a tired old man that's sick of doing this $h!t and just wants to retire lol.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-13 08:40:28 +0000 UTCWHOOOO this was so much dam fun. By far the best to this point. Thor, Groot and Rocket's entrance is my favorite moment to this point and one of my favorites in super hero movie cinematic history. RIP to.....well, everyone I suppose lol.

2025-02-13 02:36:42 +0000 UTCI highly suggest watching the next Antman and Captain Marvel before Endgame. They play important roles and you’ll miss important background info if you skip right to Endgame.
Just Dave
2025-02-13 02:34:59 +0000 UTCBefore you watch Doctor Strange Multiverse of madness, you have to watch the WandaVision TV show series. !!! The series and the movie are so deeply connected that certain things won’t make sense and won’t hit as hard unless you have watched the show
Heather
2025-02-13 00:49:53 +0000 UTC"WE have a Hulk" Tom Hiddleston himself said that is when Loki truly became an avenger and switched sides
Melody Netherton
2025-02-13 00:14:56 +0000 UTCYeah, the way we coped with this ending after we left theaters across the country, the world, it made the year-long wait for the finale much more painful and unbearable In fact, we never got the name of the movie until the world premiere of its ONLY trailer dropped around Christmas You thought waiting for each Lord of the Rings movie was insane? Endgame was all of that wrapped into one times 1,000 And as the movies released in between IW and endgame came out, those feelings were renewed Bottom line... it was the wait of a lifetime, one i don't want to go through again
Karl Kraus
2025-02-13 00:06:05 +0000 UTCMan, I want to do this one tonight, but I can’t stay up that late. I’ll have to watch it this weekend. Dang
Just Dave
2025-02-13 00:05:45 +0000 UTCThe movie was an adaptation of a comic called the Infinity Gauntlet and it ended pretty much the way it did here Thanos completed the gauntlet and let loose his will on the universe at large by eliminating half of all life, so it's no surprise the conclusion unfolded like that
Karl Kraus
2025-02-13 00:01:55 +0000 UTCGuess that makes sense
The Mad Icelander
2025-02-12 23:37:28 +0000 UTCI noticed you'd like the Avengers to kill the villains right off the bat. In reality, that's probably how people would act, but keep in mind they're supposed to be heroes with a moral compass. They generally don't kill unless there's no other option and after all other choices have been weighed.

2025-02-12 20:37:28 +0000 UTCThe way I dropped ALL my plans this afternoon when I saw that you posted this. LOL. Honestly, Amber, you did a lot better than I did. I sobbed like a baby with every person who was dusted. I figured you'd need a whole box of Kleenex like I did. I still cry every time no matter how many times I have seen it. You have 2 movies in between this one and Endgame. Don't skip ahead because you'll spoil stuff for yourself.
JennL
2025-02-12 20:24:59 +0000 UTCBy the way, what was that at 40:51????!!!!!!!! That "oooooooo" thing!!!!!!!! LOL There is also a very funny Easter Egg that most people miss, when Thanos ask Tanleen the Collector (played by Benicio Del Toro) "Where's the stone?" he says it in the same cadence as a character named Frankie Four Fingers that Del Toro played in a great film titled "Snatch" when he was stealing a huge diamond that is the center point in the film.

2025-02-12 19:40:19 +0000 UTCAmber. There are 2 more movies before ENDGAME that must be watched. And you are so right about having to wait over a year to see ENDGAME. So much anticipation for it

2025-02-12 19:23:04 +0000 UTCThat’s what most people got too but not sure if it’s from the directors or writers but it’s because hulk is tired of being used as a pawn or somethin like that. Releasing him only for human problems or somethin like that. I’ll see if I can find the article I read years ago
Alex Gonzalez
2025-02-12 19:02:05 +0000 UTCIf you’re wondering how come Hulk never came back. IMO Thanos gave hulk a beat down that he never experienced. And simply just wanted no more parts of Thanos…. I could be wrong but that’s the message I got from watching the movie

2025-02-12 16:01:30 +0000 UTCMostly agree. I don't think every detail is released fully on purpose but when studios go "oh we forgot to add this to the story" they might add it in another property. Debates aside I always stick with watching first time sagas in release order cause again the info comes to you the right way. Any other order is strictly for fun imo. I too have wat he'd starwars in the fan suggested 4, 5, 2, 3, 6 and it is indeed fun. But I will always tell folks first time seeing starwars to go in release order.

2025-02-12 15:28:14 +0000 UTCI've always said the creators released them this way on purpose most of the time. Star Wars was different but I still think they need to be in release order even though the original is now number 4. I get sick of the release/chronological order debate. I get sick of people who have watched something so much they forget the reactor hasn't and think they need to point out everything that was missed that we as the viewers didn't catch sometimes until double digit re-watches. People will ALWAYS feel the need to be "superior" with their knowledge. I tapped a couple of movies ago. The ones that get on my nerves the most are the ones that treat her like she's their own personal Netflix, Disney etc. Any streaming service they don't have.
Rowan

2025-02-12 15:02:37 +0000 UTCDon't let these folks tell ya what to dom the best thing is to see each movie and in release order. Despite chronological events or what, viewers deem important, these movies trickle information and moments to you in a specific order. Information comes at the right time when watching the release order. Skipping movies is for folks who have already seen em. Starwars has a fan favorite order to watch the movies but always watch em in release order first for proper information dosage.

2025-02-12 13:03:52 +0000 UTCAs you can imagine, after waiting a year, Endgame became the biggest movie of all time at the box office. I don't think anybody in any theater around the world moved when this movie ended. It was total shock and silence and everyone was crying. Nobody moved. Fury was signaling Captain Marvel who you will meet soon. You still have to watch Ant Man and the Wasp which has the most shocking end credits scene ever, and Capt. Marvel which gets us to Endgame. A masterpiece and just giving you a heads up here.....bring tissues.

2025-02-12 08:13:06 +0000 UTCNow you're in the End Game
Jon
2025-02-12 08:03:30 +0000 UTCAlso a straight guy here. But Chris Hemsworth and Cap with a beard are two handsome men lol.
Dodger Blue 311
2025-02-12 07:39:38 +0000 UTCWhy do people keep saying don't go straight to Endgame? What makes you think she will? She's done every movie in order without skipping a single thing. There's NO reason to think she'd skip two movies. GEEZ, stop this.
Dodger Blue 311
2025-02-12 07:38:10 +0000 UTCUgh. So tempting to skip straight to Endgame but plz plz don't. The next 2 movies are important. They're not the strongest films in the franchise, but you don't want to miss what they set up.
Zotamorf
2025-02-12 07:27:20 +0000 UTCNow you see how all the previous movies came together. No there's no happy ending to this one. Keep watching - IN ORDER. Don't skip
Mark Adolph
2025-02-12 07:12:01 +0000 UTCAmber @ 1:45:37 : "Oh Thor, wow." Thor: "Bring me Thanos!!!!" Amber @ 1:46:01 : "Sto.....He's incredible!!!" Yes. Yes, he is Amber. That scene of Thor appearing in Wakanda with Groot and Rocket by his side, holding Stormbreaker. And then he rises up with electricity crackling all around him, making the sky turn dark gray and then stomping on the ground with that huge amount of thunder and lightning. My GOD, that is one of the best scenes in all of the MCU. Goose bumps.
Dodger Blue 311
2025-02-12 07:09:42 +0000 UTCI noticed that too lol.
Dodger Blue 311
2025-02-12 06:54:18 +0000 UTCShe tends to talk over a bunch of little moments in this movie, and past MCU movies. Every time she does so, I just want to tell her to stop talking! lol
Dodger Blue 311
2025-02-12 06:52:37 +0000 UTCI was gonna post the same thing, cause yeah, she missed it. And Hawkeye was on house arrest. That's why those 2 weren't in this movie.
Dodger Blue 311
2025-02-12 06:50:34 +0000 UTCShe commented back on Saturday, on her Black Panther reaction that she was going to watch this yesterday, and post today. For those who read that comment, we knew it was coming.
Dodger Blue 311
2025-02-12 06:49:24 +0000 UTCWhen Amber sees Cap with a beard for the first time 🤣 girl stop biting your lip
Brantly
2025-02-12 06:42:41 +0000 UTCAt some point Amber, you're gonna wanna fan girl out to Chris Hemsworth in Extraction 1 and 2. I fan girl out every time and I'm a straight man. Don't wanna say anything about the films to avoid spoilers but I'm almost certain you'll love them.
Michael Keefer
2025-02-12 06:40:39 +0000 UTCThey both did independently. Only difference is Shuri has access to vibranium. I would have loved to see what kind of suits Stark would make if he had a mountain of vibranium.
Brantly
2025-02-12 06:40:37 +0000 UTCGuess Amber wasn't surprised at all to see the Guardian show up in this one. Either saw the trailer or spoilers? Would've been cool if that was a surprise. Then again, this is one of the top grossing blockbusters of all time. Hard to hide spoilers in this day & age.

pawpaw72546
2025-02-12 06:28:09 +0000 UTCThe Marvel movies from the first Iron Man all the way to Endgame are, in total, an unbelievable cinematic and commercial achievement we are unlikely to see again in our lifetimes. But let's also recognize the thousands of unbelievably talented people who contributed to making these movies what they are. Feige absolutely deserves recognition for stewarding the whole thing -- but it's not like it was his singular achievement
pawpaw72546
2025-02-12 06:22:53 +0000 UTCAmber, Thanos is Josh Brolin. He was in The Goonies and so much more but I think I remember you watched that.
Karen Silvera
2025-02-12 06:20:22 +0000 UTCagreed, hope she watches the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy and joins the DC vs Marvel Debate.

2025-02-12 06:18:03 +0000 UTCThere are 4 moments from watching the Marvel movies in the theatres that I will never, ever forget. - The shot in NYC near the end of the first Avengers movie, when the camera circles the assembled team for the first time - The unbelievably huge cheer while watching Civil War when "Queens" came on the screen, because the audience knew we were about to see Peter Parker in the MCU - The nearly as loud cheer in this movie, when Cap and his team showed up right when Wanda and Vision needed them. Specifically when you see Steve step out of the shadows - The absolute, complete, deadass silence from everyone leaving the theatre after this movie. There was no conversation, about the movie, or anything. No idle chatter, no one saying a word in the parking lot, nothing. You could hear a pin drop
pawpaw72546
2025-02-12 06:16:48 +0000 UTCImagine the people in the theatres. People were crying etc.
Matthew Killion
2025-02-12 06:12:44 +0000 UTCget out of here with that politics BS
Panthersrule 95
2025-02-12 06:10:14 +0000 UTCIts really not worth it. They stopped worrying about making good movies after Endgame, and only worried about pushing politics down people's throats. I am still furious about it.
Chris
2025-02-12 06:09:05 +0000 UTCyeah I mean I admit captain marvel is my least favorite but she needs to get to make up her own mind. At least the side characters are fun.
Melody Netherton
2025-02-12 06:07:08 +0000 UTCYou have to watch "Ant Man and the Wasp" and "Captain Marvel" DO NOT SKIP THEM - MUST WATCH THEM
James Melton
2025-02-12 06:06:29 +0000 UTCI really hope you continue after Endgame!!! you seem to have become a big fan
Panthersrule 95
2025-02-12 06:04:41 +0000 UTCWe have been waiting for you to get here since you first watched Ironman. And to think, we waited an entire year between Infinity War and Endgame to find out what happens. Carry on, Amber. We'll get there. Enjoy it while it lasts :)
Chris
2025-02-12 06:03:34 +0000 UTCIt’s not just Thanos' power that makes him the most feared. The most dangerous villains are not those who embrace evil, but those who are convinced that their actions serve a greater good.
Jake Sisk
2025-02-12 06:02:05 +0000 UTCIt's 1 am and I'm gonna get through as much as possible lol.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-12 06:01:33 +0000 UTCExactly. Some said they saw a comment on another movie advising her to skip to End Game after this and I'm like that's an awful idea. These are the same types that recommend people watch Star Wars in the "Machette order" for their 1st time. Like stop it. Let her get as close as we can to the experience we got.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-12 06:00:57 +0000 UTCThe beautiful message here is that villains sacrifice others while heroes sacrifice themselves. This has been a great run thank you!
GQubed
2025-02-12 05:55:43 +0000 UTCYea no lol. Why would anyone advise that even of they don't like those movies. She deserves to see them all like we did and make her own mind up. That person is happy to simply wait till she does Endgame.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-12 05:54:02 +0000 UTCIn my opinion. They way they were able to make an Avengers film, but it actually be about Thanos is pretty amazing!
Chris Mcbrayer
2025-02-12 05:49:24 +0000 UTCHeath is the only thing that makes it that tough for me lol. I'm going tie bc I feel like this is a better overall movie (As it should be with one of the largest budgets ever) but Heath's performance outshines everything so yea, a tie for me. As to this point anyway as I try not to speak one way or the other about things she hasn't watched yet. But yea that's the 2. 3 and 4 is tough for me between GOTG2 and Dr. Strange. But I still give the slightest edge to GOTG2.
Drewcliff82
2025-02-12 05:40:56 +0000 UTCWow, wasn’t expecting this tonight. Especially after all the GoT & Stranger Things posts. Ambers on a roll! Guess I’m staying up tonight for this EPIC reaction!
The Mad Icelander
2025-02-12 05:36:18 +0000 UTCOof, that’s tough. I think The Dark Knight stands out as a stronger standalone film, while Infinity War thrives on its Marvel buildup. Unlike Infinity War, The Dark Knight only needs Batman Begins as a foundation. Marvel dominates as a universe, but to me, The Dark Knight might be the best superhero movie ever.
Jake Sisk
2025-02-12 05:32:56 +0000 UTCYes, both Alien and its sequel Aliens
Jake Sisk
2025-02-12 05:31:08 +0000 UTCNow, I know it's hard for you to not be tempted to go straight to endgame and see what happens next but you've got to keep going in release order Ant man 2 and captain marvel hold special significance to the narrative in their own way so they're really important to see before the finale of this saga
Karl Kraus
2025-02-12 05:24:46 +0000 UTCWhat makes Avenger:Infinity War work so brilliantly is its focus on Thanos and his relentless quest for the Infinity Stones. Rather than feeling overstuffed with the countless characters introduced throughout the previous films, the movie succeeds by grounding its narrative in Thanos’ perspective, making him the central force that ties everything together.
Jake Sisk
2025-02-12 05:17:45 +0000 UTCIf you were wondering where Ant-Man was, you were talking over that one little line explaining that He took a plea deal with the government and is in the middle of serving it You'll see him next chapter

2025-02-12 05:13:08 +0000 UTC"Thanos is arguably the protagonist for this particular movie." Nothing arguable about it. This IS his movie; he IS the protagonist here.

Karl Kraus
2025-02-12 05:01:02 +0000 UTCBeyond just creating an unprecedented cinematic event, Feige achieved something even more remarkable, he introduced an entire generation to superheroes and the Marvel Universe while simultaneously reigniting nostalgia for older fans who grew up reading the comics. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) became a cultural phenomenon, proving that long-form storytelling in film could be just as compelling, and rewarding as the comics that inspired it.
Jake Sisk
2025-02-12 04:59:38 +0000 UTCThanos is arguably the protagonist for this particular movie He believes he's on the most noble quest ever to rid the universe of disorder and uncertainty and the Avengers and Guardians, who are perceived as the bad guys, are in his way Yet another Marvel chapter that encourages discussion until we're blue in the face

2025-02-12 04:55:06 +0000 UTCYou have to watch aliens Sigourney Weaver in it
Thomas Horton
2025-02-12 04:47:09 +0000 UTCI’m truly blown by what Marvel accomplished leading up to Infinity War. Kevin Feige is nothing short of a genius, orchestrating a cinematic universe spanning 18 films, each with its own distinct story, tone, and style, yet seamlessly interwoven into a larger, cohesive narrative. The sheer ambition of mapping out nearly a decade of interconnected storytelling, culminating in Infinity War was a gamble few would have believed possible, but Feige and Marvel Studios made it a reality.
Jake Sisk
2025-02-12 04:41:06 +0000 UTCThanos is played by Josh Brolin. His father is James Brolin, who is married to Barbra Streisand.
