Lovefool by the cardigans would be a great 90's or female Friday reaction as well. Green eyed Lady by Sugarloaf is pure 70's fun and funk. One more... Walk this way (the 80's version which teamed up Aerosmith and Run DMC into a rap/rock collab that changed music forever) its the song that really brought rap into the mainstream, and is historically important

NO, I have never met him in person but I didn't need to because of his music. Most see the surface of what Prince was, the visual perfection that he portrayed whether it was just walking into a room, playing any number of different instruments (of course his Mastery of the guitar stands out), his live performances, his videos, his mind blowing interviews, he made all of them extraordinary, the enigma that was the very essence of Prince. The one area where I feel he is severely underrated and not appreciated is in the lyricism that he gave ever song that he wrote! The word craft he possessed was unrivaled for its consistency and very telling of what he felt in his mind and heart...........listening, hearing, and understanding Prince's lyrics is how you get to know Him!!!! The very introduction He makes in this video mentions all the things he spoke about in his music!!!! Here are the first two verses of "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" and yes Amber, you are right, this is a Love Letter to All Women! Verse 1 "When the day turns into the last day of all time I can say I hope you are in these arms of mine, hmm-mm And when the night falls before that day, I will cry I will cry tears of joy, 'cause after you all one can do is die, oh" Verse 2 "How can I get through days, when I can't get through hours? I can try, but when I do, I see you and I'm devoured, oh, yes Who'd allow, who'd allow, a face to be soft as a flower? Oh I could bow (bow down) and feel proud in the light of this power" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!! You are Not Alone and Will You Be There are my 2 favorite slower MJ songs while Man in the Mirror and Dirty Diana are the best mid range songs and Thriller and Smooth Criminal are my favorite upbeat songs. Hard to find an MJ song I dislike lol.
