Next for Tool, I would suggest 3 songs: Lateralus for the Absolute mind-bending nature that Tool is, Stinkfist for a catchy, heavy banger that you'll want to groove to and listen to in the gym, and The Pot for a popular, sure fire home run track that'll drive lots of traffic to the channel. Regards.

2025-03-03 04:08:59 +0000 UTCTo me it is like he yearns for that relationship. He know the the pieces fit because he saw the temple (relationship) crumble. And it crumbled because of lack of communication. But he is still wanting to piece it back together because now he knows the problem.

2025-03-02 03:34:23 +0000 UTCI think it's even better you didn't pause the song. I definitely think this song deserves to be experienced in its totality. To me, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said human connection and separation between people. The temple could also be a metaphor for a relationship that stood in the past but, as Maynard says, the pieces fell apart because of a communication breakdown and a lack of compassion between two people. Could also be about religion, but I believe it's about human relationships more generally. Great reaction!

2025-03-01 08:04:54 +0000 UTCI'm not one for music reactions, but this was my favorite album in college...perfect for blaring top volume while driving to your night shift bartending job, with plans to have people over AFTER. Now...I'm in bed at 9:30...but I remember! lmao!
