If you enjoy Willem Dafoe so much you need to checkout Platoon! There's quite a few actors you might recognize in that great film. It was hilarious to see you swooning over Peter and cringing at him in the same film 😂

2025-03-11 02:10:24 +0000 UTCI have zero doubts she's going to be all over the Blade trilogy.
Rowan
2025-03-11 02:08:01 +0000 UTCI do agree with Mark. Lots missed without doing those shows. Plus, let's not deny Amber of more Loki. 🤣😁

2025-03-09 02:20:52 +0000 UTCOr she can go straight to Spiderman no way home. I don't think it will mess her up. Let not forget her favorite villain - Loki. 😉

2025-03-09 02:19:21 +0000 UTCAs always i will go old school with my suggestion. Newman & Redford's The Sting 1973. It will leave you wanting to see more of these 2 leading men.

2025-03-08 13:40:34 +0000 UTCIf you're not tired of spiderman, I think you should watch The Amazing Spiderman next. It has a different actor as Peter Parker and some different villains. Watch this and The Amazing Spiderman 2. Trust me, the payoff will be worth it when you get back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

2025-03-08 08:58:21 +0000 UTCThe Andrew Garfield Movies are next and after that watch the Disney Plus Shows on release order between the next movies, they are short 8 to 6 episodes, and I think you gonna like them.

2025-03-08 06:48:04 +0000 UTCBruce Campbell as the Maître d was great, since he was the wrestling announcer in Spider-Man 1 that gave Spider-Man his name. The Marvel movies you started with are referred to as the MCU (Marvel Comic Universe). These Spider-Man movies predate the MCU. Stan Lee had sold the rights before Marvel created its own production company. Yes Wandavision is next. Loki is well down the road.
Steven Costa
2025-03-08 05:04:40 +0000 UTCIf I am honest, the Disney+ shows are generally so bad. They did Wanda a disservice following Endgame.
Tim
2025-03-08 03:59:54 +0000 UTCShe may enjoy Agents of Shield as she really loved Coulson.
Tim
2025-03-08 03:58:59 +0000 UTCReal weakness of this movie is the studio forced use of Venom. Should only have used Sandman and Hobogoblin. Sony is at fault here, 100%.
Tim
2025-03-08 03:58:15 +0000 UTC2 post Endgame Marvel series on Disney+ are "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and "Hawkeye" along with "Wandavision". These are required before you get to Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. The Andrew Garfield Spider-Man's are prerequisites to Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Steven Costa
2025-03-08 03:45:40 +0000 UTCIt actually helps with the understanding of the Multiverse concept. Especially the first season.
Theo Harris
2025-03-08 03:17:05 +0000 UTCAmber, any idea when you're dropping the Andrew Garfield's movies? I'm getting excited about watching all of these movies again.
Karen Silvera
2025-03-08 02:33:31 +0000 UTCThe Andrew Garfield “Amazing Spider-Man” movies could absolutely be your next ones. The Venom movies you could watch anytime you wanted. They don’t really interfere with the MCU. WandaVision would be next up in the MCU. What else? Blade trilogy? How far have you gotten in the X-Men films? Fantastic Four? These are all other Marvel options outside the MCU which will come in to play in future projects.
Susan Holly
2025-03-08 02:13:52 +0000 UTCAndrew Garfield next then wandavision. I believe then it's Falcon Winter soldier, Loki and I'm not sure Where the hawkeye show falls in but someone else can help with that
Melody Netherton
2025-03-08 02:00:08 +0000 UTCAndrew Garfield is very good as well. All three actors that have played Spidey brought something different to the table. I enjoyed watching it with you! Watch the next one with Andrew. No point in stopping now. Peace and Love

2025-03-08 00:51:14 +0000 UTCNo one should willingly watch Inhumans. It violates Geneva Conention III regarding the psychological conditions of internment for prisoners of war.

2025-03-08 00:20:04 +0000 UTCit’s funny how cringe part of this movie is right now when you compare it to today’s superhero movies. It’s still a fun movie. And it was more goofy at times back then then it was cringe. I assume you’re going to the amazing Spider-Man next? And then the amazing Spider-Man two? Andrew Garfield was a pretty good Spider-Man. It’s also an essential part for the next newest Spider-Man. It all ties in.
Just Dave
2025-03-07 23:36:03 +0000 UTCYou should also try and watch the 8 episodes of Marvel’s Inhumans before you get to Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
Mark Pickersgill
2025-03-07 22:55:27 +0000 UTCVenom also found a MUCH sexier host.
Rowan
2025-03-07 22:53:39 +0000 UTCI would recommend either hopping right into the Andrew Garfield spiderman movies or hopping into wandavision, then loki
MadeByMali
2025-03-07 21:19:51 +0000 UTCIt was mostly just paced poorly. Gotta keep in mind this was the first major attempt at a comic movie doing such a large cast of main villains with 3 (sorta). It was a tricky venture and I gotta respect the risk. But obviously certain elements of the film suffered because of it.
MadeByMali
2025-03-07 21:19:14 +0000 UTCThis movie did a poor adaptation of Venom, although they got the creation scene at the church pretty spot-on. But yes Venom is a spider-man villain (anti-hero?) in the comics. The symbiote that was attached to peter left him and attached to Eddie and it basically carried the traits from its previous host (spidey) which is why Venom has similar abilities. It also carried peter’s memories so venom basically knows everything peter does. The first Venom movie is pretty solid and would probably be a fun watch

2025-03-07 20:52:47 +0000 UTCI don't know how since shes not reading comics but okay

2025-03-07 20:47:48 +0000 UTCAmber, The first Spiderman animated series began in 1967. Mysterio was a villain from that animated series. He had real powers unlike the fake Mysterio used in Spiderman 2. When/if you decide to go back to Marvel I recommend Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Black Panther Wakanda Forever. Some Men do not like it because of the Strong Female Lead character. But I think you will love it.

Heather
2025-03-07 13:12:10 +0000 UTCGo next with the Andrew Garfield films which is only 2 films. And then if u want u could do WandaVision and then Falcon and the Winter Soldier and then Loki season 1 series.
SMPUNK
2025-03-07 10:13:43 +0000 UTCYou should watch the Andrew Garfield movies next, then jump back into the MCU for Black Widow, Shang-Chi and Eternals. Sometime BEFORE Spider-Man No Way Home, watch Wandavision, then Loki. Both series introduce characters, story lines and concepts that will help you understand Spider-Man No Way Home and Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and the next phase of the MCU. Any time before Deadpool and Wolverine you should watch Logan, and you might want to watch Blade, the OG Marvel movie superhero, as there is a connection there.
Thaddeus Winterson
2025-03-07 09:37:13 +0000 UTCYou should check out the 2 Andrew Garfield Spiderman movies next. Love your reactions but I must say, sometimes you miss critical dialog or a well placed joke because you're talking over the movie. Won't cause me to unsubscribe but just thought I'd add a little constructive criticism.

2025-03-07 05:45:47 +0000 UTCAmber, The director of the Spider-Man movies (Sam Raimi) also directed the Evil Dead movies, which Bruce Campbell was the star in. Sam wanted Bruce to be spider man in the first three spider man's. But Bruce Campbell was to "manly" and older looking. So Toby Maguire was casted. So in every movie you see "Bruce" him in a new job role from usher server being a jerk to spider man. He's (he took his job bit so I'm hopping job to job ) lol. It's super funny for me bc I'm a fan of Sam and Bruce. And it even goes all the way into the newest doctor strange! And that's directed by Sam rami as well!!!! Deff dive into evil dead universe I promise you love it!!!

2025-03-07 05:41:38 +0000 UTCYou should give the classic Spider-Man 90’s cartoon a watch with the squad

2025-03-07 05:34:21 +0000 UTCShe's seen the first three(X-men, X2 and X-men Last Stand). They watched them on the Rob Squad reactions channel.
The Mad Icelander
2025-03-07 05:33:40 +0000 UTCThis one was by far the worst of the 3 Tobey movies. It had it's moments though. The villains in the first two were so good, the lack of a really intriguing villain hurt this movie. Topher Grace is a decent actor but was terribly miscast as Eddie Brock and Venom was criminally misused as a 3rd string villain in the last 30 mins alone, lol. And Peter's Emo phase was pretty cringe worthy too, even if it was caused by the Symbiote suit. Still had it's moments.
The Mad Icelander
2025-03-07 05:16:28 +0000 UTCPersonally I'd say watch what if when you run out of Marvel since it's a stand alone Cartoon. It's fun but not required for further movies. I agree with all the rest though.
Melody Netherton
2025-03-07 05:08:13 +0000 UTCTopher is a great actor but I lked Tom Hardy way better. I haven't read the Venom comics a ton though so I can't comment on accuracy just which one I enjoyed.

2025-03-07 04:59:00 +0000 UTCThe Venom movies are not connected to these at all. Basically a completely different character and Spider-Man is not even mentioned in any of the three films. They’re not really essential viewing for the Marvel journey

2025-03-07 04:17:11 +0000 UTCIn my opinion, Tobey Maguire does an excellent job portraying Peter Parker, perfectly capturing his awkward, nerdy charm. While his Spider-Man is decent, I personally prefer a version that is a bit more playful, sarcastic, and full of that signature quippy, fast-talking energy. Overall, he did a good job!
Jake Sisk
2025-03-07 04:16:33 +0000 UTCAmber, I'm so glad you liked these movies. I stopped trying to figure out who my Spiderman is - they all are. Next is Andrew Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man. Yay

2025-03-07 04:15:04 +0000 UTCIt is so good and at the time I only knew Thomas Hayden Church from the TV show Wings. His character Lowell was dopey and hilarious, seeing him as Flint Marco was so different but I found him so sympathetic and sad. I can’t explain it but definitely the best of this movie.

2025-03-07 04:03:10 +0000 UTCYou definitely have to watch some daredevil from Netflix before watching Spider-Man No Way Home. At least one episode so you get to know Charlie Cox Not the one with Ben Affleck. You can watch his at some point if you want

2025-03-07 03:52:03 +0000 UTCThomas Haden Church as Flint Marko/Sandman is one of the strongest parts of the movie. His transformation scene is beautifully done, and his motivation trying to help his sick daughter adds depth to his character.

2025-03-07 03:19:21 +0000 UTCTopher Grace as Eddie Brock wasn’t as menacing as he should’ve been. Venom is one of Spider-Man’s most terrifying villains, but here, he just feels rushed and underdeveloped.

2025-03-07 03:03:27 +0000 UTCThe Emo Peter Parker dance scene? Iconic for all the wrong reasons. So cringey! It looks like a rejected Saturday Night Fever audition mixed with a midlife crisis!
Jake Sisk
2025-03-07 03:02:19 +0000 UTCPart of the reason these look so good is the director. Sam Raimi worked on many low budget horror films where he had to do a lot with a little. His first film "Evil dead" was made in film school with Bruce Campbell for a project and cost $6,000. It is still considered a classic to this day. You give someone like that a big movie budget and they can do more with it than people who are used to having money thrown at them. It was a big deal at the time for his career and fans that he was selected to direct these. He's also a big comic nerd so he was the perfect choice.

2025-03-07 02:48:43 +0000 UTCI'll chime in with my two cents on where to go from here. When the Marvel Comics "shared universe" started, it was feasible to keep up with every story, because it was still small and intimate enough for everything to feel connected. And, in my opinion, the MCU was like that until Endgame. I truly feel we're at a point with the post-Endgame MCU where you can simply pick and choose what interests you, and put aside what doesn't. Want to follow Bucky and Falcon, but not Hawkeye? Fair enough. Interested in Dr. Strange? There's probably some prerequisite viewing for that. Not interested in Moon Knight, excited about The Eternals, indifferent to Ms. Marvel? There's no right or wrong. I just don't feel like you have to completely watch everything at this point with MCU releases. Not just for the sake of completing it, anyway. Looking forward to more reactions. ❤️

2025-03-07 02:38:17 +0000 UTCI would finish the Garfield Spider-men movies but like I said Disney Plus shows are very important. Let me see I can be helpful: After Spider-man No Way home you get the following order ........
Theo Harris
2025-03-07 02:34:00 +0000 UTCI know this is mostly a movie channel, but I do think the Disney Plus shows will be both entertaining and will inform you on the Phase 4 MCU movies. They get a bad wrap from a lot of folks who try to compare it to Endgame, but many of them are some of the better critically reviewed projects in the whole MCU catalogue.

2025-03-07 01:32:49 +0000 UTCIt is interesting back in the 80's-90's when Marvel Comics went bankrupt and they sold many of their characters to movie studios, it is great that they have gotten almost all those characters back under the Marvel Studios banner. Spider-man was their most popular character and it is unfortunate that they still don't have full control over IP, as Sony still owns the movie rights for the character.

2025-03-07 01:30:16 +0000 UTCSpider-Man 3 is definitely a mixed bag. It has some great moments but also suffers from being overstuffed.

2025-03-07 01:11:08 +0000 UTCAlright this finale could've been a little better The decision to bring 3 enemies in at once seemed cool but in repeat viewing, it was a bit of a misfire Peter's persona in the symbiote suit was cringe and the venom portion of the plot was too He wasn't even mentioned on screen by name, so it was rushed Raimi was running out of magic here but this is still ok overall Glad you've gotten these in Now onto Andrew Garfields movies
