Game of Thrones S7 E4 'The Spoils of War' Full Length

Comments

I was trying to remember where I'd seen Dickon. Then it hit me. The Unbrella Academy. Another interesting mini series.

Steph

This battle scene was so much better than BOB. The choreography was outstanding.

Steph

I don't get the theon hate still. He has paid for the crimes he committed far more than what he deserved. As far as not saving his sister there was literally nothing he could have done. The battle was lost. He just would have been captured with her. He made the right decision to not be captured with her. Theon isn't trash anymore.

Ok Amber I'm caught back up to here lol. Been so busy here in Boston. This is one of my favorite episodes. Danny and Tyrion are off to a rough start in Westeros lol. Jamie is smarter than ever at this point and Cersie as well. Very formidable. "Chaos is a ladder" is something Little Finger said in S3 "The Climb" episode when he was speaking to Varys in the throne room right before it cuts to Jon and Ygritt making it to the top of the wall. Bran saw it lol. Some great reunions and first time meets in this season too. Watching Danny really use the dragons at max power like that was a thing of both horror and beauty. One of my favorite scenes. Badly needed W for Danny. I also agree with you that her impulsiveness and stubbornness is this season is irritating. Like chill b!+ch. 😂🤣😅. Glad to be back Amber.

Drewcliff82

No it wasn’t. I could tell it was him when I watched it the first time. Nevermind. I will delete just for you. I’m out.

Jan A

We adjusted it too. That was one of the episodes they had trouble streaming I think so we watched it the next day knowing we needed to adjust. Otherwise I wouldn't have seen jack!

Rowan

I've posted the link before but if you didn't see it...Nuno Bettencourt, Scott Ian and Tom Morello.... there were a couple others but my brain went kaput, the aforementioned guitarists did a pretty sick rendition of it. I'd you'd like the link In happy to pay it again, just let me know!

Rowan

So worthy.

Rowan

Yes, GoT intro a must. Others? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Roberto A Luna

We've been waiting to be able to hear Amber. In so many of the earlier episodes we couldn't hear her over the show lol

Crystal Moore

Jan A

Thank you for the subtitles! Did you catch that the Tarley forces fighting with Jaime's lannister army are Sam's house and family? Dickon is Sam's brother and sam's dad is the one who suggested flogging the men to jaime.

Wareck

Dany did 2 things with the dragon, at the same time. Took out as many soldiers as she could & cut off their supply line.

Dale Sands

Watching the making of series showing this battle scene makes it even more impressive. The film makers were at the peak during this episode

gmaven

Even though I have watched these episodes several times, the Stark Kids reunions always get to me.

gmaven

One of my favorite episodes

Jennifer Goratowski-Elliott

😆 True.

Richard C

I was the only one amongst my group of friends with a brand new smart TV, and I could adjust the backlighting. Caught much ridicule for that.. 😆

Richard C

Sure was ! she became a Bond girl in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), playing Tracy Bond, James Bond's only wife, opposite George Lazenby

Kevin Firth

Wasn't she a Bond girl?

Rowan

Amen. Hell, practically all episodes. They did "fix" it, they said. Ummm...ok. I must be blind.

Rowan

Lady Olenna Tyrell who was played so wonderfully, by Diana Rigg unfortunately passed away at the age of 82 in Sept 2020. She was an icon in the 60's portraying a spy in the TV series The Avengers always dressed in a black leather outfit that was outstanding, Made her a sex symbol. Her awards from over the years tell you how truly talented of an actress she was , take a moment to check out her wiki page for the full list but it is impressive :)

Kevin Firth

I always watch this intro, love the tune

Mark Pickersgill

One of the guards that refused entry to Arya to Winterfell was Eddie from Stranger Things!! 😉

Gypsysoul.adventureawaits

Can you please turn up the volume of GoT on your patreon reactions?? Amber sounds loud and clear, but the show is quiet in comparison. Needs adjusting.

My favorite thing about the battle is the fact that the Dothraki have chances to go around but ride right through the fire. Things like this when they are well written fight scenes really show a difference in fighting styles. The Dothraki confront death and danger head on which is why they are so feared. The Lanisters are more catious planners so it really throws them off thier game.

Melody Netherton

Interesting to see Littlefinger's manipulation fail over and over on the Stark children. He is so used to conning people that he doesn't seem to realize he's completely failing. When he sees Aria fight he seems to think now he has a way in, a wedge he can use to make himself more important.

James Melton

Littlefinger lied to Bran's face when he said he didn't know who that dagger belonged to. Back in S1 when Catelyn came to Kings Landing and met Ned at Littlefinger's brothel, he told Cat and Ned that it was Tyrion's dagger which is why Cat captured Tyrion thinking he was responsible for Bran being pushed, who was also kept in that cell with the slanted floor and he met Bronn during his trial by combat. When Bran said "Chaos is a ladder" it shocked Littlefinger because that is what he says

Tara

- Arya makes it back to Winterfell for the frst time since Season 1. Reuintes with Sansa for the first time since King's Landing in Season 1. Reunites with Bran for the first time since she left Winterfell in Season 1. Reuintes (?) with Brienne for the first time since Brienne fought the hound - I think that was the end of Season 5 - Jon and Theon meet for the first time since Season 1, since Theon betrayed the Starks and killed Ser Roderick - Sansa kind of dismisses Arya and her kill list, then Bran lends it credibility, then she and Littlefinger see her fight Brienne to a standstill. They both now Araya is not not be taken lightly, and has seen (and most likely done) some shit - Oh yeah, and that little dragon fight at the end. Fighting against a dragon might seem pretty doable when making strategies in the abstract. It's a little different in person The payoffs keep on coming.

If your watching ahead Amber when you get to 8x3 you will need to change your background lighting and brightness on your screen you are watching it on. The filmed the episode with bad lighting.

I❤️movies&tvshows

Who saved him? Sir Plotus Armorus of Martin’s Moor.

BurleyLeaf

I don't know if they still are, but Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner (Arya and Sansa) were best friends when filming this and had a difficult time getting through their scene in the crypt because they couldn't stop laughing.

Tara

That moment when you hear the roar of the dragon and then the dragon appears is so epic.

Anta Dasu

Amber just a few things you may have missed or forgot; "Chaos is a ladder" is what Littlefinger told Varys in Season 3 Episode 6 Ayra named Sansa on her kill list several times in previous episodes. The Valyrian Dagger................well I'll just leave that alone. The gold from High Garden made it to King's Landing as told by Lord Tully to Jamie at the 34:50 mark of the episode.

MAV293 (MARK)

This shorten season packs a punch. Every episode hits.

Charles Allen

The money already arrived at King’s Landing prior to Dany. They stated that at the beginning of the episode. Probably food and stuff was still being shipped.

Ray H

Sansa has amazing RBF.

Rowan

I want to be Arya when I grow up

Suzanne Anderson

Sansa has a great poker face

Suzanne Anderson

You're about to start eating these episodes. Everyone be kind, she's at endgame GOT style. We are going to speed through these if I know Amber. She looks hongry af!

Rowan

Did you notice Eddie from Stranger Things? Joseph Quinn was one of the men that wouldn't let Arya through.
