Marvel Shows

Hey guys!

While waiting for the next season of stranger things to come out I thought it would be fun to check out a couple of mini series. I was wanting to do Wanda vision and Loki. Which one should be watched first and will either one of these affect the timeline in which I’m watching the marvel movies (just finished Black Widow)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Comments

You've already watched black widow, but that won't change anything out of order. The list for Phase 4 is: • WandaVision (2021) [Disney Plus] • Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) [Disney Plus] • Loki season 1 (2021) [Disney Plus] • Black Widow (2021) • What If...? (2021) [Disney Plus] (This one isn't integral to the story) • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) • Eternals (2021) • Hawkeye (2021) [Disney Plus] • Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) • Moon Knight (2022) [Disney Plus] • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) • Ms. Marvel (2022) [Disney Plus] • Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) • I Am Groot (2022) [Disney Plus](fun, but not important) • She-Hulk (2022) [Disney Plus] • Werewolf By Night (2022) [Disney Plus] • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) • Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special (2022) [Disney Plus]

And PS…The further you get into the Multiverse Saga, Marvel movies from other studios (i.e., Fox’s X-Men universe, Sony’s Spider-Man universe, etc.) all but become required viewing as well. At least if your wish is to fully grasp the ambitious, lofty concept this Saga of MCU films are attempting.

Kiera Walker

Bottom line, as far as first time viewing goes, you really can’t skip ANY shows regardless of other people’s opinions on the quality or relevancy of their plots. The fact of the matter is, the more you skip, the further the over-arching story of the MCU will begin to lose it’s coherency, which, God’s honest truth, is barely being maintained even if you do watch all the content. Long story short, I would NOT recommend skipping any shows or movies as a first time viewer. Even if you do not react to all of them on the channel.

Kiera Walker

Watch them in the order they were released. A quick google search or wikipedia check will give you the order everything came out. Stuff gets hit or miss at this point...but it's all part of the ongoing story of the MCU. At this point, you should go back and forth between the movies and shows, as they overlap. The shows are not too many episodes.

Wareck

LOL your right, im such a dufus when i text think at the same time. Thanks for not flaming me too bad. :) My point has zero hate in it at all id LOVE more stories with diverse casts and leads but we consume entertainment... I dont care what you are if the show sucks... it sucks. The classics need respect... Disney and their insane woke policies now leaving very fast for those that follow hollywood business side... Write a good story and we will watch it... its fair game to take the original casts and have them go on a new journey... rarely works but it IS unique and honors the original. OMG the dwarves debacle was a lowwwww point for disney behind the scenes. Spider girl... madame web... she Hulk. Cmon... There could be a 'wonder man' but i dont want to get blocked or banned describing that super suit

Scott

as said earlier Shang Chi (the ten rings) is 200% of Ambers favorite stuff... mystic, fantasy powers and extremely well written... very surprised how well it was start to finish... seemed an afterthought to marvel... and an 'asian' ? forgive me. Lead doesnt always go over great here in the states... but i was thrilled how well done this was. Dr Strange style... cant miss for you Amber

Scott

Lmaooooo hahaha hmmmmm.. lol.. no, it's a fantastic flick.

MikeHUNT

you NAILED it mr ummm. SHANG CHI was a HUGE SURPRISE and very fun.... and AMBER. SHANG CHI deals in the same realm or the MYSTIC ARTS!!! Like Dr Strange... you would LOVE IT!!!!! 100% Amber

Scott

As I was watching Spider-Man and saw Gwen Stacy's Father played by Denise Leary, I thought of a favorite movie of mine. If you want a fun action movie with good humor in it, Watch Demolition Man. Starring Sylvester Stallone, Sandra Bullock, and Wesley Snipes. It takes place in the near future sci-fi version of LA.

Steven Costa

Shang chi was surprisingly an amazing movie . I enjoyed it A LOT. Eternals was a snooze fest

MikeHUNT

Much agreement on the Disney+ Multiverse saga, but with a couple exceptions. I personally skip over Shang-Chi and The Eternals to watch Hawkeye, I just rewatched Hawkeye last week. Then skip Moonknight and go to Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness. I'm sure a few people will disagree on some of the skips, but they were less entertaining to me.

Steven Costa

..........Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...............

SERGEANT ROCK

Oh, so I can't have an opinion unless it's YOUR opinion folks!? I've read all of your replies and in typical fashion, nothing but vitriol and rage. Let's be honest here, Phase 4 blew dogshit. Everything on Disney Plus was trash and when you have South Park take a shot at you, something's going on. Amber preaches "Light, Love, Make Somebody Smile..." But y'all...PanthersRule, Patteri, Rashad, and Tony, what a lot of rage monsters. See, I can see where Paul is coming from, because I'm not going to speak for him, but Phase 4 throughout the land of cinema critics and the like called it "The MSheU" and that dudes were just a by product, C'mon, Daredevil, walk of shame, uffda, Hawkeye a bait and switch, Echo, same, oh yeah, I've watched it all and my assessment is, it's a raging dumpster fire. So, thank you Paul, for being a voice I can actually talk to instead of some patreon raging like Mom just took away their Wheaties in the morning. Good Lawdee! BTW, I thought the Blue Party was the party of love, peace and tolerance. With what I just read, hmmmm....isn't it ironic that bands that used to say, "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me, fighting against "the man", have...in essence...Become the man?" That's what y'all are, folks. The Man. But this is Amber's patreon. You want to talk to me that way, come find me on X, Truth Social, Instagram. Not here. And Amber, I still hold by the alternatives I've sent ya. Great scripts, casts, and acting. And one other movie if you haven't watched it based off of your Cabin in the Woods reaction...13 Ghosts, House on Haunted Hill...watch the originals from the 50s and 60s first and then watch the reboots. That way, you can do a compare and contrast. Stay metal, next up for Slipknot BTW, Left Behind, Duality, and Eyeless! SGT Rock PS-To you folks who are burning up your phones with replies. Remember this, you started it, not me. In respect to Amber's Patreon, you want this fight, bring it to my socials. Not here.

SERGEANT ROCK

For the the Wanda content its WandaVision, Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness, Agatha all along

Kim McClain

These past few movies, they've sorta been tying up loose ends, so I really do recommend watching everything in order of release.

justchrishere

TBH, not a fan of any of them. I would watch the Netflix Daredevil, Punisher and Jessica Jones shows if I am honest. The Disney+ shows are mostly terrible on all levels.

Tim

I absolutely agree Dave with regard to the demands Amber must have on her time. Also, I completely disagree on the need for Discord and potential moderators that just want to have more say than the rest of subscribers that visit here. Whatever Amber has time and interest in reacting to is fine with me. If it’s something I happen not to be interested in I don’t get all worked up about it, I just wait until the next day for her next video drops.

Tony F.

Hope this helps:Wandavision came out first and then Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel ect. The Netflix series of Daredevil, the Punisher, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones,, Iron Fist, and the Defenders.

Robert Lopez

Just because you and others didn’t care for Moon Knight and some of the other shows and movies doesn’t mean other people didn’t enjoy them or that Amber will not enjoy them. Amber, just watch whatever interests you. Not everything has to be inter dependent on other movies or shows.

Tony F.

My favorite is Moonknight, it's so good, great acting and writing, storytelling (but you don't have to watch it yet for MCU, but there is going to be season 2, so dunno). but you would love it, WandaVision is my second favorite and must watch. Loki Season 1 is important

verdantdruid

Yeah!! Imagine they changed Wonder Woman to Wonder Man … oh, wait 😉. I actually wouldn’t mind at all if Snow White were to meet Princess Charming 😉 but Prince Charming was in Cinderella wasn’t he?

Tony F.

Agreed, very well stated. I hope Amber will ignore the haters and watch whatever continues to interest her. I’ll be tuning in for her reactions regardless of what the haters may say she should skip.

Tony F.

I disagree. Setting up a discord doesn’t take that long. And then just have a mod run it. Also on the production side, she could hire an editor. I feel like a lot of reactors use them. Especially when they put out that much content.

Dominique Cloet

1 up for the both The Boys and Invincible.

Charles Allen

Probably doubling up on other comments, but before you get to the next Dr. Strange movie you need to watch Wandavision, season 1 of Loki and the 1st season of What If?

Charles Allen

I wouldn’t say I “skipped” those titles. I would definitely be in favor of Amber watching them when she gets that far. I simply stopped listing titles after listing as many as she would be likely to watch over the next month or two. I didn’t see much point in going farther than that at the present time.

Tony F.

Definitely Loki

Ron Shimon

You kind of need to watch Falcon and The Winter Soldier & Hawkeye also. They really connect with the overall MCU.

Magnus Thor Magnusson

Half the fun of reading comics, and in my opinion this extrapolates to the TV shows and movies, is looking up context if it interests you. Sure, you might skip some stuff and then see a move and wonder "What happened here to ? I feel like I've missed something...". If you're really interested in what you missed, you can go back and find out. If you find you can just shrug your shoulders and go along with it, that's OK. Completing stuff just for the sake of completing it is not a goal worth pursuing imo.

pawpaw72546

What the actual fuck with this message formatting

pawpaw72546

I'll just reiterate for the MCU TV shows and movies, post-Endgame: pick and choose what interests you imo. If there's stuff there that doesn't seem appealing, skip it. Same for the Netflix stuff, or the other non-MCU movies like X-Men. Just my two cents. Looking forward to more reactions.

pawpaw72546

I'm not a super fan of The Last of Us but it is a good series and I'd prefer to take a break from the MCU for a bit.

Andrew Ramos

Maybe she wants to keep a nice distance between herself and all the stalkers getting mad that she won't talk to them lol

GQubed

Wanda Vision

Anthony Goodwin

I wonder if she will do DC superhero movies after she is caught up on Marvel? It would be pretty cool to see her react to the Batman movies, Superman, justice league, and more.

Just Dave

She probably would love to do a discord, but she’s probably just strapped for time. Between everything that went on in her personal life, starting up these new channels, doing movies, TV shows, music, and production. Spending time with her kids. I guarantee that she doesn’t have much free time at all. I’m guessing she has help. It just feels like an enormous amount of work. She puts out a lot of content. I hope she’s not burning herself out. I’m not complaining. Trust me. I love all the content. I just hope she’s doing it and not overdoing it.

Just Dave

Loki is top tier. Probably my favorite series. I also loved WandaVision.

Just Dave

Neither of those two - I like "Hawkeye" is the better of all three

JarHead0351

I'll take this opportunity to suggest The Last of Us. Seriously fantastic!

Andrew Wilks

Would love for you to watch some super hero stuff OUTSIDE of marvel. “Invincible” and “the boys” are great shows. Gen V as well (spin off of the boys). Would be great for the people who want some stuff other than marvel.

jahara daughtry

Be sure to do a double drop for the first two episodes of Wanda Vision. That's what they did for us, and you'll see why. So good.

Tray-T

Same! I’d love some other non marvel series lol

jahara daughtry

For mini series outside of the MCU (would love for this channel to maintain a well balanced selection of reactions for us non Marvel fans) I’d suggest “The Queens Gambit” “Chernobyl” “Mare of Eastown” “When They See Us” “Unbelievable” and “Band of Brothers” all which have no more than 10 episodes.

Patty Estrada

WandaVision (9 episodes) The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (6 episodes) Loki (6 episodes)

Susan Holly

Happy to hear that I am not alone 🤭

Ralatar

I’m in that minority with you lol

Patty Estrada

I agree. She's just trying to make everybody happy.

Nerdgirl2025

Also, discord is perfect for suggestions for movies, shows and music. And generally easier to communicate with eachother

Dominique Cloet

Not being rude, maybe a little frustrated. I’ve been pleading for a while to get her to make a discord. That way she can talk to a couple of mods who can explain what to watch and why. Because hundreds of comments on patreon will not give you a definitive answer.

Dominique Cloet

Don't be rude she's trying to make everybody happy. A lot of people have given confusing comments on it.

Melody Netherton

So according to IMDb the release order is Wanda vision, falcon Winter soldier, Loki then the movie Shang chi, eternals(movie), then Hawkeye series. Personally I really liked falcon Winter soldier but I also get wanting to get to the Loki series lol

Melody Netherton

In release order, WandaVision comes first, followed by Loki.

Jake Sisk

You should do wandavision, then loki, and then decide where to go from there because you may feel differently lol. "They will never know what you sacrificed for them" ICK!

GQubed

Seriously? The answer is in the comments of the last 10 MCU movies you did, probably even further back.

Dominique Cloet

"Shame"? "shh"? Nothing secret here. It immediately dives into this. And you either immediately know what they are doing or you have never watched the sources and you are completely lost. IMO if you have no clue what they are doing it's probably a pretty dull first 4 episodes.

James Melton

Stranger things won’t be for months ! Start” orange is the new black” multiple seasons, female led prison drama 👏👏👏👏👏

jami hicks

Ugh, it was so bad though lol. Really don’t think it’s necessary imo.

The Mad Icelander

In fact, moon knight has no bearing on the saga AT ALL it wasn't my vibe when it first came out and who knows when we'll see him again? That last credits scene still hasn't been resolved So, a big disappointment storytelling wise

Karl Kraus

You also need to include Marvel Mini Series Inhumans before the next Dr Strange film

Mark Pickersgill

We need something else then marvel movies and marvel shows 😕 but I am for sure on the minority who think that way 🤷🏻

Josip Buretić

They truly are. Third season was up and down for me, but i think they nailed the last few episodes and the ending 👌🏻

Petteri Ahlberg

Great, well articulated comment! Worth the read 👌🏻 Hope Amber sees it.

Petteri Ahlberg

Wandavision should be next and I know you re going to love it!

Valerie Boyco

Wanda Vision :)

John Christopher xcronex

Wandavision definitely does matter and you will love it and should watch it before multiverse of madness, also I think you’ll love Agatha all along which is the “spin off/season 2” of wandavision

Shaynge

I don’t know if I agree on going with release order because the pandemic messed a lot of the original release dates, falcon and the winter soldier was supposed to come out first then like then wandavision but wandavision was the easiest to shoot under covid guidelines so it finished filming and editing first so they put that out first. With all that said I think you can choose between either wandavision or Loki season 1 but I would suggest wandavision first so you don’t have to wait as long to watch season 2 of Loki after finishing season 1

Shaynge

You should just be sticking to release order. That means WandaVision is next. Then Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow (but you already watched it), What If…?, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, etc… If you stick to release order, then you won’t have to ask us every time. Marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Phase_Four is a site that has the correct phase 4 order.

Dodger Blue 311

go with wanda vision first since it comes after far from home. i reccomend that you just keep following he release order please but some like ms. marvel and the marvels and also eternals dont need to be watched. its just not that good but PLEASE start with wandavision.

Asia R

I dont get it. Are you not watching the whole MCU anymore? If so you should just go with the release order of the shows and movies. At some point it is not a good idea switch orders and watch things later. At least if you dont want to miss stuff. In your last spider man question post here I provided a full recommendation list of the movie and tv show watch order. I still recommend to just go by watch order and add some shows like Daredevil or the FOX Marvel stuff at the correct point. Because you gonna need it for later movies to understand whats going on (Deadpool & Wolverine is a good example)

Boerben

Release order for the shows to echo other sentiments here. I'm personally not a big fan of WV so I'll sit out it's "watch along" here while still hoping🙏 that you enjoy and have fun with WV.👏🏾 Loki💚is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL in introducing a necessary understanding of an integral "abstract concept" to the direction of the "universe" both currently and...all the way through the universe's projected future for the next few years.✌🏾

K Dub

You skipped Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Echo. All are well worth watching.

Robert McEvoy

Check out-Disney+ "The Multiverse Saga".

David Berrios

The first two seasons were great.

David Berrios

WandaVision is next but it doesn't really matter. Instead of a list of what to watch I will give you a short list of what to skip. Ms. Marvel, The Marvels and the Eternals are not required viewing. Eternals isn't a bad movie but there are better, more important movies to watch than this one.

Becky White

Moon🌙 Knight will not affect the time line at all.

Jeremy Vickers

id pick Loki.... but as someone said above... it makes NO sense in any order or within a storyline that matters... its just intersting shows albeit confusing ones. Frankly... Marvels popularity is waning bigtime... i wouldnt try to go into the sub genres and half of us tuned out because they started losing their flare and story continuity. I am not a fanboy of these but i DO LIKE most of them... so im no hater... if you were to do some movies etc...id go down some of the DC Comics side... Wonderwomans intro was fantastic... you have Aquaman with Jason Mamoa. Batman and they each have nice origin stories.... its not as deep as marvel.... but frankly... compared to the nearly unwatchable Wanda Vision they are great. Loki is much more fun... id give it a B.B+. Visuals for wandavision are top notch... story is a yawner. (side note w your Breaking Bad stuff. pleeeeeeeease do Better Caul Saul... many seasons of hilarious, well written, emotional, heartfelt, AND many breaking bad connections... even brought in a few characters from that. side note to R Roy.... super nerd. definately geeks out on this stuff... sir... your ill informed unnecessary dig on what you call " some vocal haters.... let me help you... some is literally MILLIONS of fans and fans of Brands like Disney ruining storylines by forcing characters OUT of their comic book selves. A white male character would become a lesbian replacement. NOT a new character, a replacement. They tried to re write stories improperly changing genders of key characters. Roy cleverly and rudely says im and millions of th others are haters... LMAO... proving he knows nothing as to why those who did not like certain changes.... for example... what if Wakanda has its pthreviously Black Male superhero suddenly, with no plot change, no explanation, become a white gay man!! That would understandably bother fans of Wakanda... and unlike Roy... most of us think that is WRONG of Marvel, or Disney to do. It has nothing to do wih race or ethnicity, what a fraudulant thing to say.... it was simply taking out the 7 dwarves because Roy and his gang were offended by the 'abuse' of little people so they changed the dwarves into multiple iterations of grown adults (yes!!!) to bad cg messes... and on anhed on. Changing Snow White, changing storylines to meet woke cultural 'rules' during these years... the Bullies were loud and the term cancel culture began then... people like Roy would not take a breath, realize nothing has to do with race or sexism or any of that.... its taking EXISTING cherished stories and changing characters out that THEY deemed not appropriate. The fix foro this Roy, and others, was to simply make great NEW characters that were female and any other thing. No one has a problem with that... I dont. a few of my top Marvel and Dis shows have amazing female stars... Wonderwoman - EPIC!! Captain Marvel... LOVED HER and her portrayal of that character. Snow White and other shows were either delayed, canceled or flopped when studios OVER did their desire to smash their casts with nothing but alternative lifestyle characters, and bizarre plots. Disney execs \ creative team were caught messaging that they absolutely want to effect our children while their young and take brands like Disney that were wholesome safe places for us to bring our kids and turn them into sexually charged gender bending nightmares. There IS hope... that nonsense is fading because Disney and Marvel lately are losing massive amounts of money... some of their woke attempts went straight to streaming and others just written off and NEVER shown!! Its not racist to have your characters be consistent... they may evolve via storyline... thats fine.... it within the story. but Nuking many of our cherished characters... Snow white doesnt NEED prince charming anymore... LOL. well there goes THAT movie. Feminists ruined the originals beauty and innocence. go woke go broke... it became a reality. Be yourself, love yourself and others of all races and ethnicities in life... i believe that and live that way..... my entertainment.... write some good NEW characters into things...their ORIGIN matters to fans ... nothing hateful about that one bit.

Shhhhh!

TedLasso! Ted Lasso! Ted Lasso!

Ted Viramonte (Gr8fulTed)

STFU, let her watch what she wants to watch, don't force your narrow minded opinion on other people

Tony Bell

Still have never watched that show, for some reason

Mark Adolph

On Disney+ The shows and movies are listed in order under "The Multiverse Saga", beginning with WandaVision. The Infinity Saga was near-perfect. The Multiverse Saga is more scattered and hard to follow across several seemingly unrelated shows and movies. WandaVision is amazing and as good as anything in the Infinity Saga, but the format is a bit jarring. Just strap in for the ride! I would watch them all with a few things in mind... First of all, with many major characters ending their arc already it's time for new characters. Second, COVID lockdown, the Hollywood strikes of 2023, and the acquisition of Fox (X-Men and Fantastic Four), Marvel Studios priorities shifted and projects were thrown into delays and disarray for months at a time. Third of all, the Thanos of this saga (Kang the Conqueror) was cast as Jonathan Majors - a very talented actor. He was credibly accused of assaulting a woman, though, and was removed from future projects, changing the entire course of their original plans. Almost every show and movie is very good on its own merits and worth a watch, but from here on in there are some vocal haters who resent the increasing presence of women and minorities in major roles. Ignore them, please. That's what fans have to do. There are also a couple of less-than-great movies and a few shows that don't seem to tie into anything yet. But keeping in mind everything I listed above, there are valid reasons for a few dangling plotlines. Anyway, have fun with it! Fantastic Four comes out in theaters this Summer and I am stoked!!! **Netflix had a street-level MCU for a few years in the 2010's. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and Punisher all had television shows. Some of them were bangers. Especially Daredevil. This past week, Disney+ added a new season of Daredevil. **ABC aired two seasons of Agent Carter (our gal Peggy!) and SEVEN seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (our boy Phil Coulson lives!). These are grossly overlooked but quite good.

M Roy Clark

Ooh, "What If...?" Good call, especially before Dr Strange

Mark Adolph

I think it's fair to be against identity politics for the sake of identity politics, but at the end of the day, these shows and movies can still be enjoyable even in spite of that.

Paul

Watch in release order... Wanda Vision first

Sela

WondaVision…just watch in the order of release and then you’ll see it as it was intended. 😊

Bernie Zwicky

Amber you should watch The Last Of Us

Exactly

Rashad Walker

I’m pretty sure there’s a “Full House” homage and a “Malcolm in the Middle” tribute too. The WandaVision story is told through a bunch of vintage sitcoms. It’s creative and intriguing and super well executed IMO. It’s a little challenging maybe at first but the payoff is huge.

Gideon Zahler

Like many others, i would recommend going with the release order. Also, when Wandavision originally dropped, Disney released the first two episodes at once. (It will make sense why when you watch them)

Petteri Ahlberg

Anta, Thanks, fixed above. CloudyJ, It's up to Amber to watch what she wants to watch. I just listed the release order.

Tony F.

Wandavision is a great show and i'm willing to bet that Amber will absolutely love it. It's a fun mystery with great character moments and plenty of heart. Also, Loki season 1 and 2 are both really watchable. The issues with Phase 4 and 5 have nothing to do with any "message" Disney is trying to push. That's all in your head.

Petteri Ahlberg

Wanda vision first

dragon keep

I see you’re one of those Anti “Woke” people. Get out of here with that BS

Panthersrule 95

Since you just came off Avengers civil war, infinity war and endgame, it should be Wanda Vision next imo.

Tray-T

I’d agree but not moon knight it’s not really needed

CloudyJ

Agents of Shield is REALLY good and would love to rewatch it!

Anta Dasu

There's also the first Venom movie which Amber didn't see yet. And there's the "last" one too. Even though great Marvel movies, it feels they don't really connect to the timeline at all?

Anta Dasu

Hiya Amber. Anything after Endgame is just filler. Disney at that time started to push "The Message" as The Critical Drinker, Nerdrotic, SnarkeyJay, and millions of other Marvel fans foreshadowed. It's all badly made, written, and turned once loyal fans completely off during Phase 4. Take a venture if you haven't seen it yet into Justified, Landman, and The Terminal List. They're incredible! Also there is Invincible and The Boys if you want more of a graphic novel show. Lastly Sin City. Star studded cast shot in noir style. Just my .02😁

SERGEANT ROCK

Loki, because it has Loki.

Jenny Anckorn

I’d also like to say that it’s better to separate the idea of movies vs shows. Stick to official release order regardless of whether it’s a show or a movie and you’ll be watching it the way Marvel intended

Hannah

Definitely Wandavision first

Jimmy K

WandaVision is somewhat creative in concept. The early episodes rely on familiarity with old sitcoms. Specific shows I saw referenced were "I Love Lucy" and "Dick Van Dyke Show". Someone else might help with later references since I completely missed any 80s family sitcoms and the 70s was filled with with period pieces (Waltons, Little House, Happy Days)

James Melton

Not true Wanda vision is needed for doc strange 2, Loki is realveny for future avanegers movie, you only need 4 shows, In terms of the marvel shows there is only 3 you need, watch wandavision after spiderman far from home, then watch the falcon and winter soldier, then watch Loki season 1, then after eternals watch Hawkeye and finally after guardians of the galaxy 3 loki season 2, their are other series too but you don't need to watch them to understand the MCU going forwards and they are not as good

CloudyJ

WondaVision then finish the list

Michael Akkerman

Basically the right order is In terms of the marvel shows there is only 4 you need, watch wandavision after spiderman far from home, then watch the falcon and winter soldier, then watch Loki season 1, then after eternals watch Hawkeye and finally after guardians of the galaxy 3 loki season 2, their are other series too but you don't need to watch them to understand the MCU going forwards and they are not as good

CloudyJ

If and when you do watch loki you probably shouldn't watch both seasons back to back

Mike Luker

I agree with the vast majority of commenters below: stick with watching everything in release order, just as you have been doing so far. You have frequently said in your reactions that you want the same experience watching these works as we got, just with the benefit of not having to wait months and years between releases. Now that you have finished the Infinity saga it's the perfect opportunity to experience the two remaining older Spider-Man movies and some of the mini-series. The release order of upcoming works (these will take you the next month or two to get through even at the pace you have been going): WandaVison, 9 episodes The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, 6 episodes Loki Season 1, 6 episodes (Black Widow, you are here now, per your post) Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings What If...? Season 1, 9 (short) episodes Venom: Let There Be Carnage (This is the 2nd Venom movie. The first came before WandaVision but all 3 are unrelated to anything going on in the MCU). Eternals Hawkeye Season 1, 6 episodes Spider-Man: No Way Home (watch the two Amazing Spider-Man movies before this point) Moon Knight Season 1, 6 episodes Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness (watch WandaVison and Spider-Man: No Way Home before this)

Tony F.

Finally, some Agents of SHIELD fans.

Aldo Gonzales

Yes!!!

Aldo Gonzales

Marvel's Agents of Shield is really good too. It runs parallel with the MCU starting just after the first Avengers movie. I know Agent May would probably be your fav.

BlueEyedRaven

A recommendation, Agents of Shield. An underrated marvel masterpiece imo.

Paul

Always release order.

Matt Thomas

I think you should wind back a bit and watch Agent Carter.

Kelvin Horton

I really hope you watch them in release order alongside the movies. That way you avoid spoilers and watch things in the correct order. Besides, each show is about the size of 2 movies, so it shouldn't take you as long you might think. Please don't dismiss the shows just because they're not movies. Just like with Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, release order always works best.

Luis Garcia

Oh okay. yea it’s got WV, falcon, and loki before black widow so in that case she’s already messed up the order lol

MadeByMali

I assume shes watching on Disney Plus, I could be wrong, but they are all in order of release

Tony Bell

Please no more of the marvel or star wars stuff

Mister Gold

None of these shows have any real impact on the understanding of the storyline. Anyone that says different is just pushing you towards reacting to something they like. If you love the marvel universe than of course check these shows out but they're not necessary by any means. I'd honestly still say to check out extraction 1 and 2. As a fan of Chris Hemsworth not only would u get a chance to break up the monotony but you'd be able to do it with a great actor that u already love and get a chance to see him in a different role. The marvel tv shows are more stand alone shows that have little to no tie in with the movies.

Michael Keefer

She's never seen Purple Rain?????!!!!!

Tony Bell

Wanda vision followed by loki then falcon and winter soldier. You will eventually have to watch Ms marvel and Hawkeye if you are going to continue your marvel movie journey

Marvin Dawkins

Girl we're all waiting for you to react to Purple Rain!!! When will that happen???

Cheri Winn

I would do Wandavision first and then probably immediately Loki. I would also suggest putting the films on hold because yes these shows are directly connected to upcoming films you’ll be watching. Lastly, it’d probably be best to just find a list or have one of us patrons make you a watch order list

MadeByMali

Ms. Marvel is also a fun watch, and leads right into "The Marvels" movie, so you should probably watch the series before that movie.

Stephen Ray

Now that you've entered this saga, some of the shows will be super important to watch due to the plots in the movies will directly or indirectly have to do with plots in the related shows I.e. Wandavision leads into doctor strange 2 and loki into ant man 3

Karl Kraus

Wandavision should be your no.1 to watch.

Fettmatic

WandaVision first😁

Heather

On a tangent here... Are you going to start watching the mandalorian and its related shows?

Karl Kraus

If you want to go with release order for shows, go with wandavision first Both it and loki will have consequences in the larger narrative later but by themselves, they're separated for the most part

Karl Kraus

Also wanted to add, be careful about jumping right into the movies before watching all the mini series because some will tie directly into the movies and you will be lost without the context.

DarrellWaller

Amber, they're both great shows. WandaVision has connections with your future viewings and it was released 1st. Loki came out after W/V and had 2 seasons.

Karen Silvera

A heads up before you watch Wandavision, don't get discouraged in the beginning. Just trust that all will be revealed and it will all make sense in the end

Theo Harris

Oh also, they both affect the MCU timeline going forward from where you are at different points.

Jewel

I don’t think it matters what order you watch them in. Wanda Vision has one season and Loki has two. I’m a fan of Loki sooooooo. Ha ha!

Jewel

The tv show episodes are very short compared to other tv shows, between 6 and 9 episodes, it wouldn't take you long at the rate that you watch them to get through them

Tony Bell

Yes. WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki are all connected to the cinematic MCU. They are definitely worth watching. I think you will enjoy them. I would watch them in release order.

Nick Holloway

WandaVision came out before Black Widow, but it has nothing to do with the timeline. If you already saw Black Widow you already know it's a prequel before she died. You might also have noticed in the end credits that this sets up the Hawkeye series down the road. Anyhow, WandaVision is a must watch. Highly recommend it next. The order of release goes; WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki, then Black Widow. But it doesn't really matter that you saw Black Widow first, but be careful.

DarrellWaller

Watch Wandavsion, falcon and the winter soldier, then Loki

Panthersrule 95

WandaVision

Jason Johnson

Wandavision was released before all of the other Disney+ shows. Stick with the release order and start with that one.

Jim

Release date is the best bet. 1 WandaVision 2 Falcon and the Winter Soldier 3 Loki 😉

Michael Norman

All the MCU stuff (movies and TV) should be done in release order to avoid spoilers. With that said, WandaVision, Loki, and Black Widow have no crossover though I would still recommend WandaVision first. But later films and TV will potentially begin to reference each other.

Ian Forbes

You should watch Wanda vision, Falcon and Winter Soldier and Loki, in that order, before getting too far ahead in the movies, the TV shows connect to the overall universe

Tony Bell

You could watch in either order but if you’re sticking to release order WandaVision came first, then Falcon and the Winter Soldier and then Loki. You should definitely watch the shows before getting to some of the later movies though (specifically WandaVision before Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness). My personal advice is to just continue how you’ve been doing it, by release order. Then it’s a lot less confusing :)

Hannah

Wandavision occurs like two weeks after the Hulk snap in Endgame. So it comes first

Theo Harris

Wanda vision
