Hi Amber I love this song. My favorite Skid Row song is “Breaking Down”. It was from the soundtrack to a movie featuring Christopher Walken and Viggo Mortgensen called “Prophecy” which is pretty good. I’d also like to see you react to “Overkill” by Men at Work and “Woman in Chains” by Tears for Fears if you haven’t heard those yet. Thanks for letting us rock out with you!

2025-03-23 00:46:00 +0000 UTCThat chick he busted up? You are insinuating that he purposely attacked some girl and beat the shit out of her. Real story...he was on stage when an audience member hurled a bottle at him that clocked him right on his head. Naturally he was angry and threw the bottle back at the guy but it struck the wrong person. He felt awful, settled and apologized profusely to the girl. At least get your facts right instead of colorizing your info to suit your statement.

2025-03-22 22:11:33 +0000 UTCAmber, you want some great 80s Metal, give Anthrax a listen, OTD in 1987, they released their breakthrough album, Among the Living. One of the greatest Crossover Thrash records to ever hit MTV's Headbangers Ball and America's radio stations.

2025-03-22 21:56:36 +0000 UTCJenn, that's a crock. Sebastian Bach was a corporate plant. If it wasn't for Jon Bon Jovi's parents, he'd still be doing weddings and graduation parties. This guy's rap sheet is long and infamous. Remember that chick he busted up and had to settle out of court with? Remember when he wore the AIDS kills ***s dead shirt onstage? Sebastian Bach has one talent and after years of abuse to his vocal cords, he's purely a studio vocalist. He can't hit his registry like he used to, even when he did JC Superstar. We caught one of those shows and he sounded like 210 lbs. of rotten dog meat. Ask fans from meets and greets and those who've paid VIP to shows like M3 in Maryland and got shafted because he felt he had a bad performance and ran off to his trailer like a diva. Even fans at meets and greets who wore SR shirts, he treated them like doodoo. I read one Facebook years ago when he didn't have impulse control and uffda, that boy raged replying to those who asked simple questions or told him to take it easy at M&Gs on the fans. Now, was 1980s Skid Row, '89, and Slave to the Grind, '91, great albums. Yes, no doubt about it. Did they put on great shows back then, yes, yes, they did. I got to see them when they took Pantera out on the road with them. Twice! SR got blown off of the stage by Pantera. You know why SB didn't freak out, because Phil woulda whupped him up and down the Mississippi. I was glad when Skid Row dumped him after 95's Subhuman Race and his Kiss booking fiasco. He didn't even consult the band, do you know how much it is to even book KISS for an appearance, let alone take em out on tour with ya? No wonder SR got bent outta shape and sent him packin. Let's be a bit more honest about artists. Sebs is not a good person. He's only good and nice to the people he needs to use to make his ends meet. Those kind of people in my eyes, those "Center of Attention" people, aren't nice people. Manipulative people...suck. Just my .02.

2025-03-22 21:24:25 +0000 UTCI would suggest listing to Social Distortion-Story of My Life, Cake-Love You Madly and Violent Femmes-Blister in the Sun. Each of these bands have more music that you can dive into also.

2025-03-22 14:13:30 +0000 UTCCheck out "Quicksand Jesus" by Skid Row too...a deep and phenomenal song with a deep message and Sebastian kills the vocals on it again, as always.

2025-03-22 13:23:13 +0000 UTCHe actually is a nice guy but he was too wild for the band. He blames his firing from Skid Row on a difference of opinion about opening for KISS but no band lets go an amazing singer over that. the stories the band tells are pretty wild after a while they couldn't take it anymore. In his defense he was really young to reach that amount of fame and he was just overplaying the rockstar lifestyle.

2025-03-22 04:41:32 +0000 UTCSebastian Bach has one of the greatest voices in Rock. He has also done Broadway and was a reoccurring character on the last 4 seasons of Gilmore Girls. Also, I have never heard a bad thing about him and believe he is one of the nicest dudes around.

2025-03-22 04:30:29 +0000 UTCI remember this song came out in summer of 1989 right before my senior year of high school. It used to be on MTV like every hour. How those days are gone. Ironically, Nirvana and many other alternative/grunge bands would torpedo the careers of hair bands like Skid Row.
