Just don't accidentially watch Daredevil:Born Again, before watching the original Daredevil series. Also, skip the Ben Affleck movie from 2003. I thought it missed really crucial aspects of who Matt Murdock is.

I think you'd love it and each episode stands on it's own so you don't have to watch in any certain order. My favorites are "all the time in the world", "to serve man" and "in the eye of the beholder". As a book fan you'll especially appreciate the first one 😉

As the title of this episode says, it was literally filmed in front of a live studio audience. A select group of Marvel Studios staff members and their families and friends made up an audience for the taping of this episode in Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. They got to see the actors put on a show in full color. This episode was loosely based on the Dick Van Dyke Show. As of the time of this comment, the star of the eponymous 60’s sitcom is still with us and now 99 years old. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, head writer Jac Schaeffer, and series director Matt Shakman consulted Mr. Van Dyke for advice on how to deliver a show with silly physical-comedy gags that wouldn’t feel false. Mr. Van Dyke told them that his show was guided by what could and couldn’t happen in real life.
