When the rest of the band would rejoin him on stage Lennon used to say “thank you Ringo, that was wonderful”.

2025-04-11 06:58:18 +0000 UTCYou mentioned that you were on a "long and winding road with the Beatles. That is actually one of their big hits. So give "Long and Winding Road" a listen

2025-03-28 05:40:09 +0000 UTCI wonder how many Beatles songs from “Across the Universe” she’s heard? She could someday react to it on the movie side. Amber will absolutely fall in love with Jim Sturgess!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

2025-03-28 05:03:41 +0000 UTCNow that you have heard Yesterday you absolutely need to watch the movie Yesterday 2019. No spoilers but this movie is all about the Beatles in the most unusual way ever. For Beatles fans it is delightful.

2025-03-28 04:23:57 +0000 UTCA little over a decade ago, I got to see Paul McCartney in concert. Hands down, best concert I've ever been to. He played so many different instruments. His voice sounded incredible. He had so much energy. And he still seemed to just genuinely love playing music and seemed so grateful and joyful to be there. Even just on your own, it's worth checking out videos of Paul in concert. He could've gotten away with phoning it in being THE Paul McCartney. But he didn't--he killed it.

2025-03-28 03:34:09 +0000 UTCMy friend, Rob, who is a metal fan, loves Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera, among many others, loves this song. Years ago I lent him my CD because he wanted to record it on tape. That’s just how powerful this song is.

2025-03-28 02:38:50 +0000 UTCThis is the first Beatles song they did as a solo performance. No other Beatles appeared on this song recorded in two takes. In fact, there was discussion about releasing the single as “Paul McCartney” which was quashed by their producer George Martin. Paul often tells the story about how he dreamed the melody. This happened to me once, too, and it is not uncommon for artists. After the Beatles broke up, they didn’t perform any of the Beatles songs in concert for a few years. Paul was with Wings in 1976 and he would perform this song live and to hear the audience reaction still gives me goosebumps.

2025-03-28 02:28:10 +0000 UTCEveryone has a favorite Beatles song. This was my mom's, who is a rabid Paul fan. I'm a I Am The Walrus fan. Paul McCartney has one song he did on a movie soundtrack for The Lakehouse. Amazing movie as well but the song took over ANY Paul headed song I've heard. This Never Happened Before. So achingly beautiful. He just has those puppy dog eyes. When I was finally old enough to see him as a man, I then also saw what my mom sees in him, we have very different tastes. He's got IT though. Beautiful voice.

2025-03-28 02:27:11 +0000 UTCHate to say it, but Help and Yellow Submarine aren't available on streaming, unless anybody knows where they can be. I left a message above about Amber watching A Hard Day's Night and the Let It Be stuff. Hard Day's is on HBO/MAX and Let It Be etc. is on Disney.

2025-03-28 01:59:59 +0000 UTCAmber, don't know if you see the comments here, but wish you would do a reaction to the movie of A Hard Day's Night. I know what a major Beatles fan you've become, would give anything to see your reactions to their movies. Unfortunately, Help and Yellow Submarine aren't available to stream these days for unknown reasons, but Hard Day's is on HBO/MAX now and all the Let It Be stuff is on Disney.

2025-03-28 01:55:41 +0000 UTCThe story of The Beatles began with John forming The Quareymen, a skiffle craze teen combo, and meeting Paul at a fest (fete) in a churchyard in Liverpool. George was a younger boy with a reputation on the guitar. In 1960, they had the opportunity to play professionally in Hamburg, where they honed their edge playing 'round the clock. It was there they met Ringo, who sat in from time to time. That was the genesis of their talent. The fame came after they met Brian Epstien and walked into a studio with George Martin.

2025-03-28 01:31:30 +0000 UTCIf you get a chance there's videos of them on The Ed Sullivan Show (Feb. 9th. 1964) you might wanna watch. And there's 2 movies you need to watch of theirs A Hard Days Night & Help. If you can find them.

2025-03-28 01:04:58 +0000 UTCAlways glad when you do a Beatles song (either as a group or them solo). Love ya, Amber!! You should watch the Beatles movie "Help" and their cartoon film "Yellow Submarine" (which I think would get your kids to become Beatles fans although it's great for adults).
